Summoned and Unwanted

Chapter 259

[The plan to get a new harem member worked. I feel proud you got your first girl on your own without Love Sensei Kazumi’s help.]

[The path to a harem army is still on the way, hehe.]

[Furthermore, I think you broke your personal record by gaining a wife in less than half an hour. Hey Wolfie and Freerie, your soul father is getting another wife to his harem, hehehe.]

Kazumi joked, but she was actually relieved. The situation turned into a favorable one after the chances of success should drastically increase with Lilith on board, and the nobility problem can get resolved at the same time.

“I promise to marry you, Lilith Lionheart.” Vincent made a promise.

Abruptly, the promised quest activated, and a Promised Quest window appeared in front of Vincent. Lilith didn’t even say yes or nod.

It appeared that the Promised Quest system also took feelings into consideration, and Lilith had feelings of approval.

Lilith looked at Vincent with a puzzled expression.

‘After all the things Vincent said, why is he asking me this again? Doesn’t he know I want his hot body... I want him.’ Lilith thought while she was looking at the hero mark faintly shining for a second.

Vincent slowly approached Lilith with a smile and seductively whispered in her ear, “This is how a man should treat a woman.”

Lilith, “Ohh!”

*An hour later*

An hour later, Vincent got out of Lilith’s bedroom. The door closed, and the sound of the lock clicked. Lilith locked the door. She was to open only after she heard the knocking code they agreed upon and a particular word.

[So that’s how to steal a wife. But my, my, hehehe.]

[Lilith looked weak and depressed, but she almost broke you back. Where did she get that energy from?]

-No comment...-

[I guess your goal in life is still to become stronger for your harem... but, HAHAHA.]

[The reason is different than anyone would think because these women might break you unless you get stronger.]

Vincent stretched his body while he heard Kazumi sarcastically worry about him. He tried to ignore her laughter and giggling.

[Imagine Lupa finding out about this. After all the hard work she had to do in order to make you accept, she might decide to challenge Lilith, hahaha.]

Vincent didn’t answer her this time. He placed his hands on his hips and straightened his back.

Later, Vincent left to find a guard. He found a guard at the ground level and waved at him. “Can you escort me to number zero?” He said while rubbing his head.

“Sir! We were. Looking for. You.” The guard said. His words were quick and short. The guard was breathing as if he ran and looked for Vincent for a long time.

“Sorry.” *Sigh* “I get disgusted whenever I see a cockroach. I saw one after I was done with my business and was looking for a guard...”

Vincent rubbed his head as he continued, “I quickly entered a room, and I think I slipped. Then next thing I knew was me on the floor feeling pain on my head.”

“But look, I don’t have blood at least, haha.” Vincent laughed and hoped the lie would be enough to make the guard keep his questions to himself.

“It’s been about an hour and a half, sir...” *Sigh* “Let me lead you to number zero before we get in trouble. Our Lord has big plans tonight, and we need you to do as he asks.” The guard explained. Then he turned around and led Vincent to an ordinary-looking room on the ground level.

The guard moved a book from a small bookshelf. Vincent heard no sound from any mechanism, but the guard pulled the edge of the small bookshelf, and it opened as if it was a door.

Vincent and Kazumi believed the bookshelf might have been enchanted with runes in order to move as if it was weightless or on wheels.

“Please go down from here. You will meet with number zero at the end of the passage.” The guard extended his arm and pointed at the dark uneven stone stairs with dim-lit gemstones.

Vincent’s heart raced, and his adrenaline spiked. Fortunately, Vincent managed to hold himself back from punching the guard until he fainted. Vincent wanted to lock the guard in the underground room at the end of the dark path.

After Vincent went down a couple of steps down, the guard closed the entrance and happily left and to with another guard. Both guards chatted with a piece of mudcrab meat in their hands and a disgusting grin on their faces.

Vincent felt a chill as he entered a dark, smelly, and damp underground passage. The uneven stone stairs were difficult to see the edge of each step.

The lighting was terrible. There was a low-grade and almost used up light gemstone barely lighting every half a dozen of steps or so.

The uneven stone stairs were long and straight instead of deep underground. Vincent and Kazumi guessed he walked down about half a floor level.

It didn’t take long for Vincent to arrive in front of a rusty metal door. The door had a locking mechanism on the outside. There was also a wide rectangular movable window at the bottom of the door. It was most probably to deliver food.

[I would never have guessed there was this place underground. No wonder Lilith looked scared when she mentioned there being a gloomy and damp room as if it was a dungeon.]

[Now we know why Lilith asked if we wanted to save poor people inside because the room in front of us might be as bad as this passage.]

-I need to prepare myself then.-

*Sigh* Vincent sighed. After a couple of breaths, he opened the metal door and entered inside. The poker face he made quickly disappeared.

Vincent stopped in shock and displayed a deep angered frown. His eye saw an enraging scene. Vincent immediately placed his hands behind his back, and his fists clenched to the point of almost making him bleed.

“AHEM!” Vincent loudly cleared his throat to gain attention.

The guard called number zero was kicking a person covered in rags stained with a blue color. An elf was on the opposite side of the room, holding three little girls. She was shielding them from watching what was happening.

“Ohh, you came at last.” The guard gave the last kick and approached the poker-faced man who was close to making the guard eat his teeth.

“Prepare one of the little girls for our LordLord first. He loves them young. Then prepare this elf for us. It’s been a long time since it could get exciting, but where is my share of the fun?” The guard arrogantly ordered with his hand extended.

Vincent gritted his teeth and placed a piece of mudcrab meat in the guard’s hands. “Here, take this, but I guess you already heard how I will clean these slaves.”

“Tell everyone to share the slave and have the best night of your lives. I will make the elf fresh and irresistible, so you guys might end up fighting for her if you catch my drift. Lord Blackheart can’t be the only one to enjoy the night, can he?” Vincent placed his hands behind his back and locked them together before his anger ruined the plan.

“I will close the door and be back later.” The guard said as he held the door.

Vincent quickly stopped the guard by saying, “Washing a slave takes time. More so to instruct these slaves how to wash. Not to mention the precious product I have to work with. The product I have is custom-made, and I don’t think anyone can make a body cleaning agent like this.”

“So, sir. What are you implying?” The guard frowned. He didn’t like what Vincent was implying.

“Nothing really. I just want to take my time and not rush the process. You can leave the door slightly open, and I will look for a guard with the selected slaves when I finish the delicate process. Or should I rush and not satisfy the Viscount because I didn’t have enough time?” Vincent quickly made up an excuse. Even Kazumi felt impressed since she wasn’t helping him.

*Sigh* “Don’t let me wait for too long. I will give you two hours max.” The guard got out and rudely slammed the door. Then he opened the door and left it open by a few inches. It seemed Vincent’s threat worked.

[This guard isn’t a boot licker like the others.]

[I think he might be one of the most trusted men Demel Blackheart has. This one might be in charge of taking care of the people they forcefully enslave.]

[Heh! No wonder this arrogant trash has an inflated ego if he treats people like this. He thinks he is the law.]

-I felt the same... but this room is disgusting.-
