My Dearest General: It Has Always Been You

Chapter 132 - The Great Granny Kong And Her Pomeranian

"Tangyuan!" Granny Kong saw her lifeless dog and her whole body started to tremble. Her weak, fragile voice replied with a hint of sob, "W—What do you want? Who are you? I—I will give you all of the money!"

Clearly, Yu Chuan didn\'t have any intention in Granny Kong\'s meager savings. Compared to it, that person had promised him endless benefits should he succeed in leading the girl named Shi Nian out of this complex.

He had lived his life abiding rules. Even when he was whoring around, he tried to stick to the norm and didn\'t dare to spread his seeds around. He was a steady, mature working adult with a wife and kids. This was the first time for him to do this kind of breaking into people\'s house and sending out threats with a knife.

If he had just tightened his grip, then the knife would have sliced into Granny Kong\'s neck.

Unexpectedly, instead of fear, he felt unprecedented excitement coursed through his veins, as if he was a superior being that held people\'s lives in his hands. When Granny Kong pleaded for her life, it flamed his vanity further to the point that all of his nervousness was swept away without a trace.

Yu Chuan scoffed in disdain. "I don\'t need your money, old hag."

"T—Then, w—what do you want?" Crying, Granny Kong was just one step away from kneeling. "I will give you anything, please…please don\'t kill me."

"Good, I like obedient people." He kept the knife on Granny Kong\'s back as he pushed the elderly into the telephone sitting nicely atop the table in the living room. "Do you know the girl living opposite this house?"

"Ah?" Dumbfounded, Granny Kong needed a few seconds to digest the question. "Y—You mean, that little girl surnamed Shi?"

"Yes." Yu Chuan smiled. "Now, go and make a call to her, say that you need her help right now. Don\'t try to do anything funny, or else, I will chop your Tangyuan in front of you before killing you. What do you say?"

Granny Kong\'s grip on her cane stick almost slipped and she panted in fear and alarm. "What…do you want to do with her?!"

Yu Chuan\'s smile vanished and he started to approach the Pomeranian, his knife lifted high…

"Stop! Stop! Don\'t do that!" Tears streamed down Granny Kong\'s face as she kneeled. "I will do it. I will do it now!"

Yu Chuan lowered the knife and gestured to the telephone.

Trembling, Granny Kong scrambled to pick the receiver, her breathing was exceedingly harsh against the desolate space. She opened the phone number book beside the telephone and flipped it to the last page. Under Yu Chuan\'s intimidation, she put in the number and waited as the monotone tune sounded by her ear.

"Hello?" The call was connected and a soft, feminine voice of a mechanical machine answered. Granny Kong knew that Shi Nian had a problem with speaking thus, whenever she was on a phone with someone, it was always the automatic speaker who translated her text. "Granny Kong?"

"S—Shi Nian." Granny Kong tried to calm her voice. "It\'s me."

"Do you need something?"

Granny Kong glanced fearfully toward Yu Chuan and the man brandished the sharp, shiny knife in front of her eyes. The elderly was left with no choice but to sacrifice the innocent girl. A tear slid down her cheeks as she whispered. "Can you please come for a moment? There\'s something I need your help with."

The girl on the other side on the phone didn\'t harbor any suspicion at all. She replied readily. "Sure." Then, the call was hung up.

Granny Kong looked like she had been seeped out of her strength as she slid down to the ground helplessly. "I have done…I have done what you said."

"Good job." Yu Chuan bared his teeth and scanned the surroundings to monitor Shi Nian\'s movement. "Now, stay there and don\'t move. You don\'t want something bad to happen to your dog, right?"

Granny Kong tearfully nodded.

Five minutes later, the doorbell rang.

Yu Chuan pushed Granny Kong up and threatened. "Go and bring her in."

Up to this point, Granny Kong had already turned numb. She mechanically obeyed Yu Chuan\'s words and opened the door for Shi Nian. The girl was smiling cheerfully behind the door, but upon seeing Granny Kong\'s ghastly complexion, her eyes turned worried. She wrote on her board. [Did something happen?]

Granny Kong grabbed her wrist and pulled her in.

Confused, Shi Nian could only follow the elderly\'s guide. They reached the dark living room where Yu Chuan was sitting on the couch leisurely. When he lifted his head to meet Shi Nian\'s eyes, he smiled gentlemanly. "Hello, little girl. I have to trouble you with something."

Shi Nian looked at Granny Kong\'s unusual behavior, then at the stranger who appeared out of nowhere. Her eyes inadvertently caught the fainted Pomeranian on the ground. Instantly, her instinct told her that she was currently in great danger!

She threw off Granny Kong\'s hands and ran in the opposite direction, but how could she outrun Yu Chuan? When she had just barely stepped out of the door, her hair was caught by Yu Chuan\'s hand and she was yanked back inside, all the while struggling ceaselessly. Tears flooded her eyes and she wanted to open her mouth to scream yet no sound came out.

Yu Chuan put his knife in front of the girl\'s eyes. His eyes shone in frenzy. "Don\'t move or else, I will dig your eyeballs out."

Shi Nian instantly froze and looked at the tip of the blade in front of her eyes, terror drained all the colors in her face.

Yu Chuan didn\'t want to spend time any longer. He tied Shi Nian up with a dead knot and didn\'t bother to tape her mouth because he knew from that person that she had turned mute. Just that…it was a pity. He caressed the teenager\'s soft cheek with a sigh, dirty desire flickering within his eyes.

As if sensing what he wanted to do, Shi Nian started a new round of struggle, this time more desperate than before.

Yu Chuan was caught off guard and his calf was kicked amidst her struggle. It hurt so much that he sucked in a sharp breath. Enraged, he slapped her hard on the cheek. "You slut! How dare you!" Shi Nian fell from the force to the ground and Yu Chuan kicked her stomach.

He spat. "If not for that person, I will do you right at this moment and kill you after that!"

The girl\'s thin figure curled up in pain, tears streamed down her face.

Granny Kong covered her. "Stop. Don\'t hurt her! Don\'t hurt her anymore!"

"Ha!" Yu Chuan cackled as if he had just heard the greatest joke in the world. "Isn\'t it you who called her here? If not, would she be harmed?"

Granny Kong\'s face paled.

"Come on!" Yu Chuan pulled Shi Nian up without any kindness for fairer sex at all. "We have to go now. Old hag, you come with me!"

Granny Kong stood up in difficulty with her cane stick. Her legs were trembling so hard that it looked like the slightest wind would be able to knock her out. "I…Can I take Tangyuan with me? Please?"

Just a little useless dog, it didn\'t even enter Yu Chuan\'s sight at all. He waved his hand. "Quick!"

Granny Kong picked up the weak Pomeranian and heaved a sigh of relief as she found that it was still breathing evenly. With her in front, Shi Nian in the middle and Yu Chuan in the back, they walked out of the complex. The streetlamps were on, but almost all the houses in this row had their lights turned off and the street was desolate without people around, easing Yu Chuan\'s movement by a lot.

Yu Chuan used Shi Nian\'s body to block the knife while he fished out a phone which didn\'t have any contact number in it. The call log only consisted of a string of strange numbers. 666666. It was a one way call so Yu Chuan could only wait until that person called him.

But it was as if that person had his eyes on him. Just as they emerged from the complex\'s area, the phone lit up with an incoming call from the serial number 666666. Yu Chuan picked up the phone in delight. "I have done what you told me. Where are you? How will the money be delivered this time?"

The other side of the phone was silent for three seconds before directly hanging up.

Dumbfounded, Yu Chuan stared at the disconnected call. Was the signal bad?

His brain turned blank for a moment and all of a sudden, a sharp pain attacked his leg! "Oow, what the fuck?!" He lowered his head to find the originally lifeless Pomeranian sprung up madly and biting his leg in a death grip as if it had been injected with chicken blood, growls spilled forth its throat and its eyes shone in cold lights. "Y—You fucker—ah!"

Before he could deal with the dog, suddenly a shadow flashed in front of his eyes and a hard, blunt object hit the back of his leg!

Pain shot through his bone and his leg lost strength instantly, making him fall down and his grip on Shi Nian loosened.

In the next moment, a forceful and authoritative tone which was contrasted with the tearful, trembling and feeble voice of a weak elderly a moment ago boomed behind his ears like a strike of lightning. "Laoniang[1] has been fighting with tanks and rifles when you\'re still swimming in your dad\'s genitals! Such a weak chicken like you, laoniang can even deal with a hundred of you with my eyes closed!"
