I'm a Villain, So I'll Take Over The World!

Chapter 37 Joyride Of The Villain

For a moment, Yukio peered down at the pink smoothie, swishing it around in the cup as the scent that found its way to his nose proved itself to be real before he tested the substance itself. As it met his lips, in texture and flavor, it was completely true.

"...Noah, something like this…You created it?" Yukio asked.

"Yeah," Noah casually answered, sitting on one of the black stools seated at the kitchen counter, "It took a lot out of me though. I still haven\'t been at full strength since creating it."

It was a feat on par with godhood to Yukio, something that surpassed the frightening awe of destruction and sat on a divine threshold of creation.

"So, this is what you meant then? If you have something like this…An isolated space of your own, there\'s no need to run," Yukio asked.

Touring around the vast mansion, the black-suited man explored one of the dozen \'recreational rooms\', which had a pool table, a chess board set on table, a shelf stocked with enough board games for a lifetime, and even arcade machines lined against the wall, featuring classics like "Pag-Man", "Super Tony Bros", and "Sanic The Rat."

Noah walked alongside him while sipping the smoothie that he had enchanted with a special rejuvenating property to help relax and recover his tired body, "That\'s right. You\'re free to use this place, too."

"Really?! Sweet, man!" Yukio celebrated before settling down with a question, "...Can I bring chicks here, too?"

"I suppose," Noah said.

"Woo-hoo!"

It seemed to be a rousing success, that is, winning over his ally on the idea of staying within the city. After taking his leave from the subspace, leaving Yukio inside with the \'key\' to get in-and-out, he looked at his bed for a moment.

\'...I think a change of pace will be good tonight,\' he thought.

With a clap of his hands, he warped into the sky above the illustrious city, now finding the sun setting as the azure skies shifted to a warm orange.

"Hmm…where do I want to stay tonight?" He asked himself.

There were a host of options in the downtown area of the city; as it was a tourist-heavy area, hotels had to maintain high quality in the competitive market.

"...Always wanted to try that one out," he mumbled.

That being said, he set his sights on "Bornrose"--a highly-regarded hotel chain that had a whopping cost of two thousand per night, but for him, it didn\'t matter. It was a standout building in the city, being made of ivory material with large windows that allowed customers to have a dazzling view of the cityscape.

Bypassing the need to go through the normal order of business, he simply appeared in the empty suite that was the highest room, which also boasted the most expensive price, though it was clear to see why.

There were multiple queen-sized beds with silken sheets and fluffy blankets, also having a mini-bar and a large floor space almost akin to a small house.

"Yeah, this\'ll do," he said with a smile, jumping into bed.

The bed was heavenly compared to the worn one he was used to in his room, feeling his body sink into the cloud-like mattress as a relaxed sigh left his lips.

\'I can get used to this…\' He thought.

It didn\'t take long for him to completely slip into slumber, sleeping like a log in the unregistered suite that he shamelessly helped himself into.

There was no need for dreams amidst his state of rest, as such fabrications of reality couldn\'t compare to what he could conjure at a snap of his fingers. As a result, utter darkness, blank of stimulation was what he experienced when unconscious; it was a way to elevate the level of recuperation gained from slumber.

"...Grah…"

A yawn left his lips as he naturally woke up, feeling completely well-rested as his worn body and mind felt at one-hundred percent capacity.

Blinking slowly, he sat up from the heavenly bed, looking to the right to find it was already morning, somehow, as the sun peeked through the large window panes that acted like walls for the suite.

\'Ah…that\'s right. I\'m out sick today for school. No need to worry,\' he reminded himself.

As he stretched his arms over his head, he got out of bed, scratching his hair as he felt a tad dirty, realizing he hadn\'t showered since the ordeal in the Antarctic.

"That\'s not a good look," he mumbled to himself.

With that in mind, he found an excuse to try out the elaborate, walk-in shower that came with the four-figure suite.

The warm water helped fully wake him up as he whistled casually beneath the showerhead, utilizing the minty body wash and lavender-scented shampoo before finishing up, feeling like a brand new man.

Tossing his black t-shirt and pants back on, which he cleaned with a snap of his fingers, his attention now lingered towards the mini bar present in the room.

Of course, he wasn\'t exactly old enough to drink at the age of nineteen, but that wasn\'t going to stop him by any means as he grabbed a cold bottle of hard seltzer from the fridge.

"Gotta start someday, right?" He said to himself, swishing the ale in the bottle.

Instead of prying the bottle cap off with a bottle opener like a normal person, he lightly flicked his thumb, causing the cap to rocket off.

As he brought the bottle under his nose, he took a whiff of the sour scent, feeling it burn his nostrils as he reared his head back, wondering how such a commonality could hold such a revolving smell.

\'Must not taste half bad then, right?\' He thought.

Finally bringing it to his lips, he let the amber liquid slide onto his tongue and down his throat before immediately pulling the bottle away and gagging, spitting out what he didn\'t already swallow.

"Guh…!" He held his tongue out.

He looked at the bottle of alcohol like it was a nefarious potion, brewed by a witch, questioning again how people drank it.

\'So bitter…\' He thought.
