Another Stupid Isekai

Chapter 691 T.D.O.N.B: The New Home

The first thing we did was to get in line to use the device. With so many people around, it wasn\'t as easy as it used to be, despite the additional access points. We were forced to wait for a few long minutes. Of course, I could have pushed my way through the line, but I didn\'t want to make a scene. Not when my anonymity was still intact.

Besides, at this point, you should know that I wasn\'t really one of the people who do such things.

When I finally placed my hand on the device, I saw 24 356 220 points remaining on my account, and 21 class points. Not a terrible number for what I had in mind. My plan was to get a new house since my old one was ruined. So I acquired some land in a free spot as close to the city center as I was able to find, and then I bought a lot of land around it.

The next step was the project of the actual building. I chose to go with three floors. Ten rooms to have a possibility to have people stay for the night at my place. Each got a separate bathroom. I also made a big kitchen with a separate, even bigger, dining room. But the true beauty was hidden in the basement. A cinema hall, gaming room, bar, a freaking swimming pool, and obviously - a nice, big library. I also got a separate, very well-protected, hidden space to keep all my shit from other worlds, and the things I would work on in the future.

The new house was surrounded by a beautiful garden. So big, that you could enjoy having a walk around the property. I made a spot to have a barbeque, and a spot for kids to play around if some happened to be there. You never know.

All of it got put behind a fence. A tall wall of solid concrete, with a proper gate, and additional trees planted to keep people from peaking over it.

I got a garage, just in case I ever was owning a car. Quite a big one, so I could store a few vehicles there. Lastly, I placed a nice plaza in front of the house and the previously mentioned garage.

Then I spent a while decorating it, making people, who were waiting for their chance to use the device, quite annoyed.

When I was almost finished, I also fought with the price tag for a moment, because I wanted to make it even. I went with 14 million points.

- Done - I said to Tihana when I took my hand off the access point.

- You took your time - she complained.

Some people in line added their five cents to her words, but I ignored them.

- Yeah, I did. But the effects are worth it. Come, let\'s have a look at our new house - I said, and smiled at her.

She smiled at me back and actually skipped out of joy as we were going to our new place. After a long time of being practically homeless again, she probably really wanted to have a place she could call home. Especially if it was to be close to the city center, so she would be able to go to school and hunt later on.

I bet she expected something like that, and I was actually happy because what I created was surely on the level to meet such expectations.

It took us around fifteen minutes to get there, because, with the increased population, all the closest locations were already taken. I probably could create one, by making the city grow, but that would gather too much attention.

- Wow. You build a prison or what? - Tihana asked when she, for the first time, saw the wall surrounding her new home.

- I don\'t want people spying on us, and I don\'t want anybody to get on my property - I explained myself.

She didn\'t argue.

A moment later, when we reached the gate, I opened it using \'Telekinesis\', and we entered the paved road through the garden. Of course, I closed the gate behind me. Not only that, I placed a quick seal on it, so only I and Tihana could open it without having to fight the magic. It was a simple seal because I didn\'t have time for anything bigger.

- Holy shit - escaped my fake daughter\'s mouth as she saw all the nice flowers and bushes around, and then the house itself.

It had three steps leading to an entrance. Heavy wooden door, dark brown with an iron knocker on it. It was placed under a small roof, supported by two sculpted pillars of solid marble. White ones, to mix well with beige walls. The roof was black.

Tihana rushed forward because she clearly couldn\'t wait to check the inside. I took my time, following her. She opened the door, and got inside, without closing them behind herself. I took care of that after I entered my new home, obviously using \'Telekinesis\'.

There was an entrance hall with cabinets on both sides for jackets and shoes. A red rug placed on the marble floor led to a staircase a bit further, which reached all the way to the second floor.

The ground floor had the kitchen and the dining area on the right, while on the left, there was a day room, with a fireplace, and a backdoor to the garden. It was also connected to the garage.

The second floor had five rooms in total, with two staircases on the left and on the right sides of the whole building, going to the third floor, where the remaining five rooms were located. Judging by the noise picked up by my keen ears, Tihana was already checking them out.

To reach the basement, one would have to go behind the staircase, where the door to the next pair of stairs was hidden in a small room. It also had a short elevator, which would take you to the basement, but also to my secret room.

While my fake daughter was exploring, I sit down in the day room and waited patiently.
