The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Chapter 221 - Twists And Turns In Xiuying's Life.

\'What?!\'

\'What on earth was this woman talking about?\'

Ming Xiuying\'s eyes widened in fear and shock as she heard what the other lady just said.

She was just joking when she asked if the lady could read her future too, but she didn\'t expect the other lady to utter nonsense. Wasn\'t she ready weird enough?

To Ming Xiuying, the lady was not worthy of causing a headache to herself.

Sure, she saved her life and that was it.

Ming Xiuying took a deep breath, forcing the frustration and exasperation out of her, and responded in a very polite tone.

"Then, I must thank the Miss for alarming me beforehand. Who knows if I would end up offending either of these women?"

Although she asked the question very solemnly, yet the lady could sense the sarcasm in her words, but chose to ignore it.

The last shook her head in amusement and said, "You\'re very welcome, Miss Ming. Who knows when my warning can come in handy?"

Xiuying was about to retort when the lady spoke, not letting her speak. "As for offending those women, you have already offended one as far as I can see in your stars, and your future actions will determine whether the second woman will be your friend or foe."

Lord Knew who this woman was talking about!

Ming Xiuying had no interest in hearing these riddles that the lady in front of her was uttering. She had more important tasks to do right now. One of them, being knowing about the whereabouts of her fiance and cousin.

However, the amusement never left the lady as she added," All the best, little girl. I hope you are prepared for the twists and the turns your life has prepared for you."

With this the lady shoved her hands in her pocket and began walking, humming a tune that Xiuying was not familiar with.

"Wait!"

Xiuying tried to stop her but she kept on walking. Like a very good human being she was, she gave a warning to this girl, but….it was up to her...what she wanted to become...it was completely up to her.

Forgetting about all the aristocratic education she had received all of her life, she shouted. "At least tell me who the villain is in our lives. Me or those two women?"

Xiuying wanted to know who according to the lady was the villain, she or those two women?

The lady turned, a smirk intact on her face. "Aren\'t we all villains in someone\'s life?"

Xiuying was as confused as hell right now. Why was she listening to this weird woman\'s blabbering?

"Well...thank you for saving my life," she sincerely thanked her. "By the way, you didn\'t tell me your name."

"I will...if we meet again. Until then, goodbye, Ming Xiuying!" The lady said and holding up two fingers, she touched it to her forehead in a saluting manner and left.

However, Xiuying noticed one thing on her wrist. She didn\'t know whether to be afraid or…

A tattoo.

A tattoo of Medusa to be exact.

But, Xiuying was wrong. Very wrong. Though the tattoo resembled Medusa --a face covered with a snake...but in reality, the tattoo denoted something else.

"Ma\'am?" A voice called Xiuying out of her stupor.

Xiuying turned around to find a staff member holding an envelope in her hands.

"That\'s for you… a lady just asked me to give this to you," the staff member said.

"Who was the lady?" Xiuying asked her.

"Ummm...she was in a very weird costume."

Xiuying just knew who this lady was. She took the envelope suspiciously and opened it immediately.

She unwrapped it to find an A4 sheet written with two words.

ROOM NO. 20.

She glanced at the staff lady and asked, "What\'s in room no. 20?"

The staff lady looked at her in bewilderment as if to see if she was crazy. Yet, she spoke politely. "Ma\'am, it\'s your room."

Xiuying blinked her eyes in realization. Just what was that lady getting at?

However, her heart asked her to check her room first. And so, she walked towards her room.

"Oh my god! Yusheng …" She heard a sudden exclamation.

Hearing this familiar voice, Ming Xiuying stiffened and turned to look inside the door.

Immediately, she saw the face of a person she had never thought even in her wildest dream that she would do something like this...

An innocent face that people would never suspect...

It was her cousin, Chen Anning!

Her cousin and fiance were naked on her bed!

"Yusheng, I have been waiting for this day forever!" Chen Anning, who was covered with sweat, said in a sweet and sickly voice.

Xiuying who was standing at the door saw the scene unfolding before her eyes in bafflement.  Her heart still was not ready to accept the fact that the fiance who she had loved all her life actually cheated on her with her cousin.

She couldn\'t help but laugh at her fate. She was one of those heroines in novels where the scumbag would cheat on the heroine with trash step sisters and cousins.

However, looking at the two naked figures intertwined on her bed, she has an urge to beat both of them into pulp, but her aristocratic training that her mother had embedded in her veins didn\'t allow her to do such a thing. She wanted to cry but she held back her tears.

A gust of strong breeze opened the for further and the sound didn\'t escape the ears of two naked figures.

Chen Anning glanced at the door and was shocked to find Xiuying standing there frozen. She didn\'t expect to see her there.

  Wait…

How was she here?

Didn\'t she…

No. No. It couldn\'t be...

"Thinking how I am still alive?" Ming Xiuying snickered in disgust.

Chen Anning had no words to say, but...it was now or never.

"Yingying, please you are misunderstanding us--"

"Oh? I\'m surely misunderstanding my fiance who is half inside my cousin right now and not to mention the fact, completely naked!"

Chen Anning lowered her eyes, looking at her hand. This time, Xiuying didn\'t miss a flick of malice and jealousy in her cousin\'s eyes.

Wow. Just this was what she had yet to see.

Xiuying then glanced at her so-called fiance who hadn\'t spoken even a single word till now.

"Wow, Huo Yusheng, even you proved to me that men are fickle creatures. I really thought you\'re different but no...you are just a lying and scheming scumbag!"

Huo Yusheng who was initially crimson felt like breath left his body as he heard her accusations.

"Ah Yusheng, are you alright? Are you okay? Please, don\'t scare me!" Chen Anning sweated anxiously. She saw that Xiuying\'s accusations were affecting him. He was as pale as the sheet of paper. She wouldn\'t let that bitch snatch this man ever!

"Woah. What a love story! If you both were so in love with each other why didn\'t you ask me to leave? " Xiuying shouted with all her might.

Xiuying left the room in anger. She felt tears burning her eyes. God. Why was she crying? She shouldn\'t cry for that cheating scumbag! She actually loved with all her heart and she really thought like an idiot that someone on this earth could truly love her.

No. She was not loveable at all. Her own mother hated her existence. Then, how could he love her?

She had spent the past two decades loving him and caring for him and looking at what she got in return.

She didn\'t deserve to be loved. How would someone love her, who was a product of rape? Her mother hated her father to the core. Her mother was his second wife and married when his first wife died leaving children behind.

It was said that he had taken a liking to her mother even before his first wife died but didn\'t pursue her as he was a married man with kids.

But he got the chance when his first wife died. Her mother was so in hate with her father that she never let him touch her until one unfortunate night...when she was conceived...binding her mother to the Ming family forever.

It was enough of a reason for her mother to hate Xiuying\'s existence, and the only reason she was tolerating her daughter was because of her engagement to Huo Yusheng, which didn\'t know would last now or not!

Although Xiuying had lost everything in a single day, she still was left with the last shred of her dignity and pride.

She would never let a man trample upon her pride and dignity.

However, she was quite well aware of the fact that her mother would never let her walk out of this wedding that was fixed many years ago.
