Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Chapter 387 Aren't You Just A Fool?

The thirtieth floor was where both the Trinata and Rivera guilds had their base and this was the first place that Gregory came to when he started looking for information on the extra stars. Gregory and Rau came to the lower floors a few days ago and Gregory has been trying his best to find information about the extra stars, but the people in the Rivera guild all told him that they didn\'t know anything about the stars. Gregory went out to find someone else that could help him find information and they finally managed to get the information about what has been happening from that drunkard.

Gregory grew angry once he heard that all the guilds on this floor have received stars from that so-called messiah. Gregory already asked Leona - the vice-guild master of the Rivera guild - if she knew anything about the extra stars and she told him no.

That means she lied to him.

Leona was the Lion-woman that went with Han a long time ago to get Gregory from his planet and Gregory thought that he could trust her because she seemed like a good person, but it turns out that everyone on this lower floor was already corrupted by that messiah.

Once Gregory and Rau returned to the Rivera guild, Gregory immediately started to search for Leona. It was easy for Gregory to find Leona with his special eyes and he started to move there. Leona was handling some of the wild beasts that they fought recently and she was directing the bronze and silver stars on how to properly skin them.

Ever since Han left the lower floors, the gold stars have started working even harder to try and gain enough power to go up as well, but no one has been able to climb up ever since Han. One of the ways to gain power was by killing and consuming the wild beasts down here so they have been working on ways to get more power from these beasts.

As Gregory and Rau got closer, Leona turned to Gregory and gave him a curious look when she saw the anger on his face. Gregory didn\'t tell Leona where he was going before he left so Leons wondered what happened for him to be so angry.

"You\'re back early. I didn\'t see you around anymore so I thought you went back to the top floors,"

Gregory walked right up to Leona and grabbed her arm before he started to drag her away!

"Hey! Hey, what the hell do you think you\'re doing!? Let go of me!!"

Leona tried to get out of his grip but Gregory\'s grip was too strong for her to even try and move it! She couldn\'t sense Gregory\'s full power as a black star but Leona still knew that Gregory was far beyond anyone else on these lower floors by a very large margin!

Some of the adventurers that were in the Rivera guild all started to shout in protest as they saw Leona being dragged away.

"Let her go, you tyrant!"

"She\'s the vice guild leader, bastard! Show her some respect!"

"Do you think you can just take her away like that!?"

Things like these were just flying around and there were even some people that wanted to move toward Gregory to force him to free Leona! None of them could feel what his full power was so they thought he was just a strong gold star that was trying to do whatever he wanted!

"Alright, let\'s calm down a little. You guys are way too loud. Gregory, you can go ahead, I\'ll handle things over here."

But Rau came and stood in front of all of them and he just told Gregory to go ahead. Rau was more than enough to take care of any bronze or silver star.

Gregory wasn\'t even listening to anything that anyone was saying. He just dragged Leona into the guild building and moved to her room. Gregory slammed the door behind them and then he slammed Leona to the wall!

"Ugh!!"

Leona hit the wall with a pained grunt and she glared at Gregory in anger as Gregory pinned her there with his forearm!

"What the hell do you want!?"

"Why did you lie to me about what has been happening to these lower floors?"

"What?"

Leon\'s tried to look confused but Gregory increased the force he was using to press her chest and she groaned in pain as she grabbed his hand! Don\'t fucking press so hard! Do you want to kill me!?

"Don\'t fucking lie to me again or I\'ll break you. You looked me in the eye and you told me that there was nothing wrong on these floors. What about the so-called messiah and the new stars that are being shared around? How do you explain those things? Or are you trying to tell me that you never knew about them?"

Leona grit her teeth in anger and she looked away from Gregory. Leona wondered who was the fool that spoke about that! Didn\'t they all have an agreement on these lower floors that they weren\'t meant to talk about that? Leona was trying to think of another way to twist the truth so she wouldn\'t have to tell Gregory about the new stars but Gregory grabbed her shirt with his other hand and he ripped off the bottom half of her shirt in one go!

Leona\'s entire face grew red as she shrieked at him in shock!

"What do you think you\'re doing!?"

Gregory ignored her shriek and he traced his hand down her side slowly. Leona felt her skin shiver as Gregory went down and she cursed when Gregory stopped at a spot right above her left hip bone. He found her second star. The star shimmered to life to show a second silver star on her hip.

Gregory narrowed his eyes up at her and the force he was exerting on her chest increased even more as he seethed at her angrily.

"You don\'t know anything about it, huh? So you were just going to lie right in my face until the end!? Even after you signed the contract of submission with Han! What do you think Han will do if he finds out what you\'re doing down here!?"

Once Leona heard Han\'s name, she snapped!

"Why should Han care about us!? What has he done that would tell is that he gives a fuck about us at all! He hasn\'t even tried to help us once since he went up to the higher floors! Do you know how much damage Han has caused to the lower floors with his \'small fights\'? Do you know how many unlucky chosen have died because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time during your fights!? Han doesn\'t care about us! To him, we are nothing but collateral damage!"

Leona was no longer calm now that Gregory already found the star and she just became angrier once she heard Han\'s name! She didn\'t want to hear that man\'s name at all! What has he ever done for them since he left for the upper floors!?

Leona\'s voice became quieter as she continued in anger

"Ever since he took the contract of submission, he hasn\'t even been to our guild once! It was like he completely forgot about us and moved on! We\'ve fought for Han for years and he has been reaping the benefits of our sacrifice, so shouldn\'t we also have a chance to go up to the higher floors!? Isn\'t that meant to be his goal from the very beginning!? To help us gain more power!? That\'s what a guild leader is supposed to do for his guild! There hasn\'t been a single gold star that has ascended for centuries!!"

Han was the guild leader of all the guilds on the lower floors because he had their contracts of submission and Leona was pissed about how Han completely forgot about them!

Gregory understood where she was coming from, but he still thought that they were fools.

"So you think the best way to ascend is by breaking your contract and going to someone else for help? Are you a fool? Do you have any idea how much Han has been fighting for you idiots down here!? Han is only three floors away from destroying this fucking temple and you idiots are busy selling yourselves to anyone because you want more power! You\'re fucking up his plan with your stupid selfishness!"

Once Gregory said this, Leona grit her teeth and turned away in anger! They weren\'t just selling themselves to anyone! Gregory was talking like he knew everything that has been happening down here! Those on the upper floors don\'t know anything happening down here just like those on the lower floors don\'t know anytime happening up there so they can\'t blame us for whatever we do to gain power!
