Almighty Summoner System

Chapter 137 - Pity

The truth is, the moment he saw Leon kill that rattlesnake earlier, he already knew that he was in deep trouble.

That\'s why he immediately sent out a distress signal towards his companions in the city to request for reinforcement.

Not only to save himself but to also have the opportunity to kill Leon. He was really a troublesome fellow and he knew that he would surely hinder their plan in the future.

That method to send a distress signal was unique to him and his companion. The Adventurers Badge of the Adventurers Guild also has the same function but the message would only be delivered to the Guild Master himself.

Unlike the Dark Stone in his possession, it could be used to send a distress message towards a single individual as long as they were inside or not far away from the city. It also has a tracker so he does not have to worry about not being located by his companions.

Earlier, he even acted as he had already gone crazy just to not Leon notice that he was using the Dark Stone.

He succeeded at last and he only needs to wait for the reinforcement to arrive.

The Dome Barrier was perfect for that and he estimated that before its duration ends, the reinforcement would have already arrived.

But the situation at the moment was really outside of his expectations.

The Dome Barrier had been broken through and the reinforcement could still not be seen.

"Tori, what are you doing? Attack him now, don\'t let him break the Dome Barrier!"

Tori was also awoken from his momentary stupor. Just like Delo, he did not expect that his skill would be broken by their opponent.

It seems that he was really a strong opponent.

Tori\'s head dropped down slightly after hearing his owner\'s order. He does not want to fight. He only even has two attack-related skills and the rest of his skills are all focused on defense.

However, Tori could not disobey his owner.

Tori immediately uses his remaining attack related skill called Glass Horn.

Just like the name implies, it was a skill where a long and sharp horn would grow out on the shell beside his neck. It was a melee attack and the way to use it was to pierce the enemy with the sharp horn.

A glass horn even longer than Tori\'s body grew out of that area. He released a sigh as he crawled towards Ban with a quick speed, trying to pierce him with the sharp horn.

Swoosh!

He jumped high in the air as he aimed at Ban\'s head.

Unfortunately for Tori, Ban had already noticed him from the start.

He turned his head towards Tori\'s direction and instead of evading it, he instead headbutted the incoming attack using the Ant Mask.

Clang!

The Glass Horn immediately shattered due to the collision while Tori was shoved down to the sand in the process. Of course, Ban\'s head was also pushed back a little but he managed to stop it just in time.

Seeing Tori on the ground, Ban immediately stomped his foot towards him.

However, Tori acted in time and he was able to use a defensive skill at the last second.

Glass Thorns.

Multiple sharp and thin glass immediately protruded on Tori\'s shell.

Clang! Clang!

However, as expected it was easily broken by Ban.

Tori was shoved down the sand even more and before he knew it, his body had already started flying away like a broken kite as Ban had already kicked him away.

He endured the stinging pain on his foot as some glass might have wounded him during that stomping.

He gritted his teeth as he smashed the barrier in front of him again.

Delo\'s nervousness was now over the top. If before he only acted that way, this time it was already real.

His expression was wicked as he observed Leon and his action. He cowardly retreated at the end of the Dome Barrier, as he felt safer that way.

Unfortunately, the Dome Barrier could no longer hold it anymore. It collapsed completely right after Ban delivered the last strike.

"No god, please no! Please forgive me!" Tears started to form at the corner of his eyes as he started to plead for his life again.

However, Ban does not have any plan to spare him. After all, unlike what happened on the Adventurers Guild, he did something he should not have this time.

He stared down at Delo and without any warning, he immediately smashed his head with the Twin Baton.

Boom!

The attack connected but instead of the head being hit, what was hit was actually his arm as he raised it the moment Ban attacked.

Arrrgh!

Delo screamed in pain the moment he was hit by that attack. His arm immediately went numb the moment he was hit by it. It started to swell and it did not take long for a huge baton mark to appear on it.

Ban did not stop there but instead smashed Delo\'s head again and again.

He only stopped after seeing that Delo no longer moves.

Blood was splattered everywhere even staining his shirt and pants.

However, he was not bothered by it even a bit.

Ban knew that he was not dead, yet. At least for now.

At this point, Tori had already returned to their side. Seeing the state of his owner, a drop of tear could not help but emerge on his eyes.

Tori approached Delo and he nudged his head as if to check his state.

Growl!

He growled at Ban as if saying that it\'s already enough.

Their eyes met in the middle and Ban could tell how concerned Tori was. If his eyes could speak, it would surely plead on behalf of Delo to spare his life.

Ban released a sigh after seeing the Barrier Turtle act that way.

"You\'re lucky!" He commented to Delo before he turned around to return to Belle\'s side.

Just for the Barrier Turtle\'s affection, he would spare Delo\'s life. However, if he could survive or not was still a question.

Ban had already started to walk away but he was later forced to stop on his tracks as he felt a foreboding feeling behind his back.

He immediately turned around and what he saw was something he did not expect to encounter.
