Chapter 1396: Jiujie Betrays the Qin

Zhao Zong then decided to speak, his voice booming. "Palace Master Jiujie, we\'d like to invite you to show yourself. The White Elephant King and I will express our apologies if there has been any mistake."

Zhu Yuan nodded in agreement.

Everything was silent with only Zhao Zong\'s voice echoing throughout the area. There seemed to be no reaction coming from Abyssal City.

Qin Beiming, Qin Baiyan, Qin Yi, and the rest of those from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin began to turn pale. Meanwhile, within Abyssal City, chaos had ensued as some of the more alert experts had felt that something didn\'t seem right. They quickly attempted to leave.

Unfortunately, before they were able to do so, a frightening defensive ward began to shimmer into existence in the sky above the city, turning the entire city into a cage.

This meant that everyone was prevented from leaving.

Divine Tiger King Zhao Zong and White Elephant King Zhu Yuan had gloomy expressions on their faces. Qin Jiujie had chosen not to respond, and even the Blackwater Divine Transformation Formation had been activated. His actions had spoken for themselves.

"Qin Jiujie, you\'ve made a mistake! The World\'s End River Region is a protective barrier for the Heavenly Origin Divine Continent. How dare you collude with the Origin Reversion Institute and plot against us!" Zhao Zong growled.

In the skies above, the void rippled and a black-robed man appeared. Vast amounts of energy radiated from him and filled the world.

It was none other than Qin Jiujie.

There was an icy expression on his face and his gaze was full of hatred as he stared at Tan Tailan. If not for her, he would never have been forced into such a predicament. Escaping from this city would be a herculean task as he had to face off against a Greater Transcendent Duke and two Single Crowned Kings. He would undoubtedly be left at a disadvantage.

Qin Jiujie would not take actions that would put his life in danger.

The fact that Tan Tailan had appeared here meant that the Faceless Other King had been tracked. She definitely had some way to force him out.

Perhaps this was part of the Faceless Other King\'s plan to drag him under and force a decision out of him.

"We beseech the Palace Master to deactivate the formation and invite them in for a talk."

It was clear that they all harbored hopes, but Qin Jiujie\'s expression remained indifferent as he said, "Li Jingzhe died and Tan Tailan popped up. The Dragon\'s Fang Lineage is truly detestable."

Qin Jiujie had already made his decision. From today onwards, he would give up his position as the leader of the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin. Those words immediately caused the experts from the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin to turn pale. His words essentially confirmed what Tan Tailan had said.

The Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin simply couldn\'t bear the consequences. They couldn\'t understand why Qin Jiujie would do such a thing.

"Noisy." The Faceless Other King waved its hand in irritation, and countless grayish-white pieces of skin fluttered downwards. EVerything that happened within the World\'s End River Region had been caused by the cooperation between Qin Jiujie and the Origin Reversion Institute.

"Qin Jiujie, aren\'t you afraid of Heavenly Emperor Qin\'s wrath?" Zhao Zong asked in disbelief.

"The elders of the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Qin won\'t let you go either!" Zhu Yuan said heavily.

Tan Tailan nonchalantly added, "He\'s already chosen to side with the Origin Reversion Institute. He naturally does not care for Heavenly Emperor Qin. Furthermore, he probably started working with them a long time ago. Once someone chooses to embark on the Origin Reversion Institute\'s boat, they can never get off. My two acquaintances, the disturbances to the World\'s End River have not ended. The Tri-Pupil Enigmatic Fetus is still snooping around in the gap of the World\'s End River, and we must capture these two if we want to survive this disaster."

When Tan Tailan spoke, Zhao Zong and Zhu Yuan\'s expressions turned solemn. "We will follow Duke Lan\'s lead."

Qin Jiujie was a Dual Crowned King, and with the aid of the Blackwater Divine Transformation Formation, the two Single Crowned Kings would not be Qin Jiujie\'s opponent even if they worked together. Tan Tailan understood the two of them hoped that she would be the vanguard. That said, there wasn\'t anything to be worried about at this point. Their top priority was to capture the Faceless Other King and Qin Jiujie.

She thus took a step forward, and her eight Ten-Pillar Golden Duke Bergfrieds appeared. As the Duke Bergfrieds floated in the air, Transcendent Divine Mist surged out and condensed int a Transcendent Heavenly Throne, which gave off the aura of perfection.

The Transcendent Heavenly Throne floated majestically in the sky, attracting countless shocked and obsessed gazes.

This was the deepest desire of any Duke. Even the two Single Crowned Kings looked at it with respect.

It was something only the most talented and impressive people could attain.

This allowed them to defeat even Kings. Zhu Yuan and Zhao Zong similarly displayed the crowns they possessed. However, their usually dignified and glorious crowns seemed a little ordinary when compared to the perfect Transcendent Heavenly Throne.

The three revealed their strength immediately and condensed apocalyptic attacks without hesitation, sending them towards Abyssal City.

Qin Jiujie’s expression turned serious when he saw the furious assault of the trio.
