The Young Urban Doctor

Chapter 274: 274 This Woman is Too Cool

The Hummer was almost undamaged, while the Toyota Camry was sent flying over ten meters, its rear end smashed to pieces. What was more fatal was that when the Camry was hit by the Hummer, its front end violently smashed into a light pole ahead.

The impact was tremendous. The front of the Camry was wrecked, both headlights were shattered, the windshield was caved in, and the light pole was embedded into the front of the car. Both airbags in the front popped out in an instant.

The driver of the Camry had fastened the seatbelt, but the passenger hadn’t. Thrown forward, they smashed hard against the airbag, nearly getting knocked unconscious.

There were four people in the Camry, and the ones in the back seat also hadn’t fastened their seatbelts. They were hurled forward, their heads hitting the roof and their bodies crashing against the seats, suffering varying degrees of injury.

The thugs who were initially intent on beating up Luo Ziling were stunned, their eyes all turned towards the crash site, temporarily ceasing their attack on Luo Ziling.

Seeing this, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but crack a smile. It seemed that there would be some excitement today.

The domineering Hummer came to a stop after the collision. The driver’s door opened, and out came Lin Lan, clad in leather jacket and pants, donning sunglasses, looking cool enough to kill. She disdainfully glanced at the wrecked Toyota she had hit and didn’t bother checking the situation, instead she walked straight towards Luo Ziling.

“They wanted to hit me,” Luo Ziling saw an opportunity to let someone else do the fighting for him and pointed at the crowd around him, shouting to Lin Lan, “They wanted to beat me to death today.”

Upon hearing this, Lin Lan grew even angrier and, without warning, lifted her long leg and fiercely kicked the nearest person.

The burly man, who was momentarily entranced by the sight of the cool and leggy beauty, had no idea she would strike without a word. Unprepared, he was kicked flying by Lin Lan.

The others were scared stiff once again by this woman’s domineering presence.

Before they could recover, Lin Lan had kicked down several more people, her movements indescribably fast.

Luo Ziling simply became a spectator. He had never seen Lin Lan in action before, so he was curious to see how skilled she was in combat.

Although he had sparred with Lin Lan before, it was just for play and without real combat, it didn’t count.

Lin Lan’s attacks were extremely fierce, targeting vital spots, and the thugs who had planned to assault Luo Ziling were thrown into chaos by her overwhelming attacks. After five or six people were knocked down, the rest frantically fled, no longer daring to rush forward.

How could these ordinary thugs possibly be a match for a professional special forces operative like Lin Lan?

At this moment, the people in the mangled Camry also exited the vehicle. One of them in the backseat, likely the leader of the gang. The middle-aged man, his head split open and blood streaming down, pointed at Lin Lan while cursing vehemently after getting out of the car, “Where the hell did this bitch come from, daring to deliberately crash into us and hit people?”

Without saying a word, Lin Lan charged up and picked up the man who had insulted her before he could decide whether to fight or flee.

Lin Lan grabbed the man’s belly and dragged him over to the wrecked Toyota Camry. She then kicked at the shattered windshield, creating a hole.

Then, to the astonishment of the onlookers and Luo Ziling, she lifted the unfortunate man by the legs and stuffed him headfirst into the hole.

After being stuffed into the windshield, the man flailed his arms and legs, crying out in distress, but he struggled in vain to free himself.

The other three who got out of the car were shocked, involuntarily stepping back. But Lin Lan didn’t plan to let them go. One by one, she knocked them down, picked them up, and stuffed their heads through the car windows or the back windscreen, following the same method.

“Wow, such a badass woman; I’m totally in love,” a student watching the spectacle couldn’t help but exclaim excitedly as Lin Lan shoved one person after another into the car window, “She’s my goddess. I fell for her the moment she first lifted her leg.”

“Damn, you dare to like a woman that savage?” his companion whispered in surprise, “If you marry someone as domineering as her, just try arguing with her and see if she doesn’t stuff your head into a toilet sink-first. Do you have a masochistic streak or what?”

“I just like domineering women like her, what are you going to do about it?”

“Fine, then go and court her.”

“You want me to be flipped into a car as well?”

“Then why are you still talking…”

Lin Lan wasn’t paying any attention to the onlookers’ comments. After coolly finishing her business, she dusted off her pants and walked over to Luo Ziling, saying discontentedly, “Why didn’t you do anything yourself?”

“I did kick,” Luo Ziling moved the foot he had used to kick someone just now, “But when I saw you, I decided not to act. I knew you would teach these people a lesson for me.”

His words earned him a roll of the eyes from Lin Lan.

“You looked so cool beating them up today,” Luo Ziling’s eyes were practically sparkling with admiration.

After what happened this morning, his perception of Lin Lan had completely changed, you could even say it transformed dramatically.

The impression of this woman in his heart had grown loftier, and he couldn’t care less about her usually cold attitude toward him.

But Luo Ziling’s praise resulted in yet another eye roll from Lin Lan.

Unbothered, Luo Ziling chuckled before saying, “What’s next? Shall we get going first?”

He knew Lin Lan wouldn’t have any trouble for hitting someone, who could blame her when she’s cloaked in “tiger skin”?

It was precisely because of this that he hadn’t intervened later.

Because if he threw punches, it would cause trouble, but he thought Lin Lan wouldn’t—at least that’s what he believed.

If they left now, the police would probably track her down by the car license plate.

Luo Ziling figured the police could find out Lin Lan’s identity through her plate, but wouldn’t dare to investigate further.

Therefore, he wasn’t worried at all.

“Let’s have breakfast first,” Lin Lan said nonchalantly, pointing at a nearby snack shop.

Luo Ziling took a glance at the cool Lin Lan, then another at the snack shop beside them, and couldn’t help but feel a little surprised.

“You’re paying; I didn’t bring any money,” Lin Lan declared, ignoring Luo Ziling’s reaction, as she walked into the snack shop and ordered the owner to prepare two baskets of xiaolongbao and two bowls of wontons.

At this moment, the faint sound of police sirens could be heard approaching.
