The Strongest Conquest System

Chapter 260: The Principles of His 'Parents'

"Change of heart!?"

Azmond practically fell off an invisible chair upon hearing such a ludicrous thing being mentioned by Boundless!

What did she mean by \'change of heart\'!? He would never even entertain the idea of having a \'change of heart\' when it came to Exp!

...

"I have not had a \'change of heart," Azmond began with a click of the tongue at even mentioning such a thing.

"I simply overlooked the bigger picture for a moment there and forgot about my extremely \'elaborate\' plan. That\'s all," he muttered.

|Isn\'t your \'elaborate plan\' just to kill all the monsters!? Doesn\'t seem very elaborate to me!|

*Whack!*

A karate chop came flying out of nowhere as it knocked a little sense into Boundless!

|Ow ow! Wh-What was that for, you big meanie!?| She whined a little while holding her head.

"Instinct," Azmond responded.

|Instinct?| Boundless wasn\'t following.

"Yes, I hit you on instinct, sorry..." He apologized with a slight hint of remorse in his expression.

|It\'s okay, Azmond! I didn\'t even feel it, hehe~|

Boundless\'s joyful voice was followed by her latching onto his back before snuggling her face up against his.

*Arghh!*

*Spurt!*

Azmond took so much damage upon being \'sneak attacked\' by that girl that he was sure he would never heal from such a fatal injury!

\'This girl is too good for me\'

A loving gleam flashed past his eyes as Azmond realized something

\'I seriously love her, don\'t I?\'

He had begun to understand small hints of this a long time ago. But it wasn\'t until the last few days that such a fact truly sank in for him

Azmond was a hopeless case, but he wasn\'t the only one.

|\'Hehe~ I wonder if we can do a bunch more naughty stuff once we make it to a safe location~ I want to do all sorts of things... Hehe~\'|

Although Boundless\'s \'case\' was a little different, as her thoughts trailed off in a more perverted direction...

There was a time in Azmond\'s past life when he was told something by the caretakers of the orphanage he was \'dropped\' off at.

He was informed that, along with the letter that gave him his name, there was more to it than just that

In a small location of the letter, in handwriting far too refined to be written by someone of lower class, there was a snippet of something that Azmond was supposed to follow until the day he died.

And although Azmond had no reason to oblige to the request made by his presumed \'parents\', he still tried his utmost to follow such principles.

The first of those principles was \'to never hit a woman\'. This was written multiple times in the letter, as it seemed like that was an extremely important point for his \'parents\'. There was even a time that it was written in big italic red

That was a principle that Azmond attempted to follow to a T; however, it wasn\'t until coming to this world that he realized how hard it truly was to abide by that principle!

He really and truly tried! But he just couldn\'t help himself when it came to all the troublesome women around him!

Azmond was helpless in the matter!

All he hoped for was that his \'parents\' or whoever wrote the letter would be a bit more understanding of his actions.

\'They would understand, wouldn\'t they?\'

*Shiver*

Azmond felt a shiver go down his spine when he thought about his supposed \'mother\' finding out about what he did.

\'Why am I so scared about the idea of my \'mother\' finding out? It isn\'t like she\'s even alive right now\'

Right!?

He followed the other emphasized principle: \'Be Nice to Women!!\', so he should be fine

Right?

A few minutes passed by as Azmond begins to enter the First Step of the Luminous Grounds.

The First Step, like the Second Step, was mostly populated by the \'grunt force\' or the basic monsters that didn\'t possess relevant \'ruler-class skills\' or the appropriate cultivation base to be considered \'Monster Kings\'.

However, that didn\'t mean they weren\'t an important part of the \'distraction tactic\' that the High-Rank Monster Kings were using to divert the human race\'s attention.

After all, how were they expected to escape without the proper meat shields? Every good diversion tactic needed a few billion meat shields!

And the meat shields in question were traveling around the world-sized first step as they went about whatever it was they were doing. Most of which usually involved humans in some way.

Torturing humans, cooking humans, skewing humans, searing humans alive, eating humans

You name it, and they were probably doing it to a human!

But it wasn\'t like every single one of them were bloodthirsty \'monsters\'; it was just most of them

However, there were a few monster races, such as the foxkin, catkin, dogkin, bunnykin, and most other relatively \'docile\' monster racesthat didn\'t seem to be doing anything to humans\'.

There were, of course, heinous monsters even among the more \'civilized\' monster races; however, they were usually few and far between. After all, these \'monster races\' were on the edge of being \'Beast Races\'.

The only difference between the two being that these specific variations of the beast race\'s possessed a bloodline closer to \'monsters\', than to \'beast\'s\'.

On one of the Continents adjacent to the Azure Blank Continent, there existed a ruling force that mainly consisted of the various \'beast race\'s\' of Asterion.

And there were, of course, \'catkin, foxkin, ect.\'; however, they were the variations that lay closer to the \'Beast Race\' on the designation spectrum.

The reason for such a convoluted and complex system was that both monsters and beasts alike loved to well

F*ck!

Every single one of them loved to procreate like their lives depended on it! They didn\'t care if it were a chicken, a duck, or a goose! If there was a hole, there was a motherf*cking way!
