Apocalypse Cheater

Chapter 212: End of 10 Tribe's Quest

However, I effortlessly dodged their attempts with swift and calculated movements.

It reached a point where I seized one of the chains and crushed it between my fingers, turning it into black essences that dissipated into the air.

"Impossible!"

The tribe leader\'s expression twisted into a mixture of fear and astonishment. "H-How can you crush the chains of the goddess!?"

It stammered, pointing at me with a trembling hand.

I maintained a steely gaze, my eyes reflecting the power that I held now.

"These chains are nothing before me" I declared confidently.

"Your attempts to bind me with your goddess chains are futile\'\'

The tribe leader, once exuding arrogance, now struggled to comprehend the situation.

\'\'That\'s a chain that contains divine essences and even god essences! How can a mortal like you touch it!\'\'

It said as the dark essence of the crushed chain lingered in the air.

\'\'That\'s because I can\'\' I answered confidently.

In response to my defiance, the tribe leader roared, a sound that echoed with frustration and desperation.

It gathered its energy once more, attempting to summon additional reinforcements to overwhelm me.

However, I wasn\'t one to be easily subdued.

With my Seraph of the End transformation at the 10th Stage, my power surged to unparalleled levels.

The sheer magnitude of my energy caused ripples in the surrounding space, and a black aura enveloped my transformed figure.

Ignoring the tribe leader\'s fear-stricken expression, I continued to manoeuvre through the endless chains.

With each of the chains, I effortlessly sidestepped or evaded, displaying a level of agility that seemed beyond mortal bounds.

"Your goddess\'s chains won\'t bind me," I declared with a calm tone.

The realization of my overwhelming power was beginning to unsettle the tribe leader.

In desperation, it summoned even more chains, hoping sheer numbers would overwhelm me.

As the black chains multiplied, forming a chaotic web in the air, I decided to demonstrate the extent of my 10th Stage Form.

As I raised my hand, a surge of black energy emanated from my palm.

A black-light enveloped me, and it burned all of the chains.

At the same time, I unleashed a chaotic chaos energy that swept through the remaining chains.

They disintegrated like fragile threads against a powerful gust of wind abyss.

However, once I had burned all of the chains, there was only the abyss portal.

"The portal is an eyesore for me, so let me close the portal for you," I declared calmly, catching the tribe leader off guard.

Its eyes widened in disbelief and confusion at the unexpected offer.

"W-What!?"

The tribe leader stammered, unable to comprehend the intent behind my words.

Ignoring its bewilderment, I shifted my attention towards the ominous gateway.

With my limited manipulation forces of Void and Space, I harnessed these elements combined.

Raising my hand towards the portal, I clenched my fist, concentrating to seal the portal.

Immediately, a surge of potent energy emanated from my fingertips, intertwining the fabric of void and space itself.

Moments later, a change in the environment occurred.

A black void box materialized around the portal.

The edges of the void box pulsated with an eerie glow as it encased the otherworldly gateway.

As the void tightened its grip, the portal began to diminish in size.

The tribe leader, now watching with a mixture of awe and horror, could only witness the power I wielded.

\'\'This is impossible...you\'re sealing a portal...used by a goddess...?\'\'

It was in disbelief, and its knees fell to the ground, unable to comprehend the situation happening right before it.

With each passing second, the portal shrank and eventually, the portal disappeared into nothingness.

The threatening energy and chains that once surged from the portal had finally disappeared.

Silence surrounded the battleground as the void box dissipated, leaving no remnants of the once-threatening portal.

The tribe leader, now stripped of its potential reinforcements, gazed at me with a mixture of dread and begrudging respect.

"You thought you could kill me by borrowing the powers from your goddess" I stated coldly, locking eyes with the tribe leader.

"But even your goddess\'s powers couldn\'t kill me\'\'

The tribe leader, witnessing the escalation of my power, now feared me

Even if it wanted to resist, it couldn\'t.

After all, knowing that I had sealed off its goddess powers had already shown it how powerful I am, and to go against the one who had sealed off the portal was like asking it to die.

The fear in its eyes deepened as it realized that the situation had taken a turn beyond its control.

"You are no match for me," I claimed, my voice resonating with an otherworldly authority.

"Your goddess\'s chains, your powers, they all had crumbled before me\'\' I gazed at him with void eyes.

\'\'What...more can you do?\'\' I questioned with a low cold tone.

It seems like the Tribe Leader couldn\'t find the answer to my question, and even if it wanted to fight, it no longer had the intent to do so.

I had destroyed its fighting spirit, and all it felt was despair and hopelessness.

\'\'Now, even your aid from your goddess had failed to kill me, all of your kins had been slaughtered and in the end, even your goddess couldn\'t save you," I remarked coldly while surveying the aftermath.

The tribe leader, who now had nothing else to offer, faced me with a mix of dread and defiance. It seemed to grasp the inevitable outcome of this encounter.

At the same time, the defeated tribe leader gathered its last remaining willpower and glared at me with a mix of hatred and resignation.

It seemed like the tribe leader had given up, and the reality of its death coming soon was becoming more evident.

It couldn\'t escape from me; hence, it decided to gather its last remaining energy to question me.

"What do you gain from all this destruction?" it questioned, its voice weakened.

\'\'What do I gain?\'\' I raised my eyebrow at his question and I approached the fallen monster.

Once I was a few inches away from the monster, I gaze at its huge body with killing intent.

\'\'What I gain from killing you is to gain the chance to shape a future free from the chaos your kind brings\'\'

\'\'A future where I can be happy with my family" I declared.

\'\'That\'s...ridiculous\'\' The tribe leader insulted. But I didn\'t what it may think about me or about my pursuit of goal.

\'\'Whether it\'s ridiculous or not is not decided by you\'\' I said.

Without wasting any more time, I altered my weapon back to a scythe and channelled the force of void and space towards my scythe.

\'\'In the end, I don\'t need anything else other than achieving my goal\'\' I added.

With those words, I raised my scythe, ready to deliver the final blow.

With swift and deliberate movements, I aimed the menacing blade towards the creature, channeling my intent into a deadly strike.

The moment I struck down, a slash had and the space before it seemed to warp and distort.

The force of void and space combined within the deadly slash, created a temporal disturbance.

The space, unable to withstand the unleashed power, ruptured and fractured, forming a damage crack in the dimension.

However, few seconds later, the space that had been tear apart by my slash had recovered and it had sealed up.

The tribe leader, recognizing the imminent threat, could have dodge or even escape, however, its lack of willpower causes itself to accept its fate.

As the slash reached its target, a cataclysmic release of energy occured.

The forces of void and space, having fulfilled their purpose, erupted in a burst.

The tribe leader had bore the brunt of the attack.

As the energies subsided, the aftermath revealed the consequence of my decisive strike.

The tribe leader\'s body was split in half and there was no chances of it surviving.

However, the defeated tribe leader\'s voice echoed one last time, "You may have won this battle, but the war against your own kind has just begun."

At the end of its last remaining words, the sound of laughter echoed.

\'\'When the time comes, then, I\'ll be prepared to face against it,\'\' I declared confidently.

When the day of the Apocalypse comes, I\'ll be ready to face it all, and that\'s the reason why I\'m doing this.

To change the future.

Once the tribe leader\'s body had dissipated into nothingness, I raised all of its dead kins into shadow soldiers and recruited them into my rankings.

At the same time, I collected my spoils, and looking at how much I had gained since the very beginning made me content.

Afterwards, I went to look for the three saintesses; however, all of them were looking at me as though I\'m a monster.

Not in a bad way, but rather in a good way, and it was weird as hell.
