God Ash: Remnants of the fallen.

Chapter 410: Abyssal Millionth Beast (3).

\'Just how do they plan on taking this thing down? Kicking and punching it would be stupid to do, so what...\'

At that moment, while he approached Ruby\'s back, the four female Beastmen, Leah, Kai, Lin Lin, and Roselle, appeared beneath the creature.

Although Cain had just prevented it from releasing {Ironfall}, that didn\'t mean it couldn\'t attack anymore.

The moment the girls stepped their feet into its attack radius, the giant body of the creature trembled...

Then hundreds of extraordinarily sharp metal pipes, the size of swords, fell from the sky on their heads.

"Move out." The leader, Leah, calmly gave an order, and the rest followed. Lin Lin suddenly paused in her tracks and looked up at the creature attacking with contempt. Then she began chanting...

At the same time, Kai who was running with all her might stepped on the ground abruptly. A slight tremor spread across the paved ground, causing it to crack. A tremendous amount of force raced up her body as she swung the arm that held onto a white bone spear.

The moment the spear left her arm, the shockwaves of a sonic boom hit the ground.

The sound barrier was absolutely obliterated...

The spear flew through the air with the force and speed of a nuclear warhead and smacked against the side of the {Abyssal Millionth Beast}.

A portion of the body of the creature caved in as the spear dug into the creature\'s side and excited from the other.

"Yes!" Kai threw a don\'t up when she saw that her attack had successfully done damage. However, her excitement was short-lived as in a few seconds, the massive hole created by her super-sonic spear throw vanished completely.

"W-what the...?!"

She had just poured a tremendous amount of strength into the attack. For the fruits of her labor to vanish so easily made her brows squeeze in annoyance.

Perhaps not impressed by the obvious provocation, a grating noise came from the {Abyssal Millionth Beast}. It was similar to the sound of pieces of rusted metal rubbing against one another, amplified a hundred times over.

Completely ignoring the sound, Roselle and Leah dashed in like bolts of lightning. Their speed was far superior to that of their comrades.

Cain frowned, \'They are certainly fast, but not fast enough.\'

They dodged the rain of giant metal needle-like hairs as they dashed toward the Abyssal Creature.

Despite being fast, the density of the carpet bombing was getting too much. Spon, they would be unable to pass through the thick shower of death.

That was if they wanted to use brute force to break through...

In reality, things were about to get far more interesting...

The eyes of the cold Roselle flashed with a bewitching silver light as she suddenly muttered under her breath,

"Broken Moon Art: Twisted Reflection."

The space around her seemed to distort for a brief second as he plunged into the thickest part of the metal rain. However, she passed through completely unharmed.

Cain\'s eyes trembled, \'What was that? A spatial technique?\'

His {Eye of Clairvoyance} had seen it, and his {Eye of Uncertainty} had processed it. However, he still was unable to grasp what had suddenly happened.

His eyes narrowed, \'She\'s dangerous.\'

Someone who could move like that was very scary with a sharp weapon like a blade in her hands.

Leah on the other hand to a far more simplistic approach. Although it was impossible to avoid the rain of metal with brute force or speed, that was only if common sense was applied. Unfortunately, common sense was something that had died out a long time ago...

Sparks of lightning danced on the surface of her skin as her lithe body arched into a crescent. Cain couldn\'t help but feel some type of way watching this.

"Thundershift."

There was a loud bang, and the next moment, she was no longer there. Instead, she had appeared on the other side of the rain of metal hairs.

Cain frowned, \'They weren\'t as strong as this last time.\'

Cain could remember the battle he had before he jumped into the fragmented lands quite vividly. Although they were strong, he still managed to overpower them in the end.

Although he didn\'t think he would lose if he went up against them, it would still be a tough battle if he held back. This meant they had not been stagnant while he was in the fragmented lands.

The moment the two girls managed to successfully cross through the death field of metal hairs, Lin Lin was done with her chanting.

Cain watched in shock as a dark sphere appeared above the head of the pale-faced young woman. Her raven cloak fluttered in the wind as the dark magic sphere expanded for what seemed like an eternity.

Her eyes were as dark as the night sky as she pointed a thin black wand at the sky;

"Spatial Art: Maximum Compression Release!"

The black sphere shooting through the air was fast enough to disappear for a second, then reappeared just above the {Abyssal Millionth Beast}.

A powerful shockwave that shook the central island was released.

\'The power of that thing is enough to obliterate me. Even the {Amethyst Silkworm} would be unable to ignore that thing.\'

Cain couldn\'t help but look at the girl with a renewed gaze. Although she had a bad character, her power was not bad at all.

"Damn it..." Lin Lin muttered, as her cloak stopped fluttering. Her face looked extremely pale as she had consumed a majority of her mana to activate that spell. The power of the spell had to match up with the consumption after all...

\'She\'s not bad, but she doesn\'t have the best of control over her mana.\' Cain made a quick analysis.

He was now dangerously close to the battle. However, he had used {Emblem of Darkness} to cloak himself and Ruby, so they would be unable to see or hear them except when they came within a certain range.

Cain watched Lin Lin mutter under her breath,

"It\'s all up to you now..."

He turned in time not to miss the show\'s finale...

From what he could see, these girls didn\'t want to fight a prolonged battle, which was smart. Rather than allowing the Abyssal Creature to deal damage, they wanted to take it down as fast as possible by using their strongest attacks.

This was a very good plan...

It would have worked perfectly...

If they understood the type of creature they were faced up against...

The force of Lin Lin\'s spell had forced the {Abyssal Millionth Beast} towards the ground. This was to make it easy for the melee fighters to attack the creature. The shower of metallic death had also stopped, making it possible for Kai to approach and aid in the battle.

Roselle drew the weapons hanging on both sides of her waist and leaped up. Her face was tranquil. Her long hair fluttered in the wind, and there was not a single change in her aura as the dim lighting coming from the planet\'s atmosphere reflected off the surface of her blades.

Two streams of light with different hues burst out of the rapiers she held in her hands.

On her right hand, the blade took on a very terrifying silver sheen, while the weapon held in her left hand was enveloped in a torrent of water that began compressing itself onto the surface of the blade until it became another layer of sharp death. Powerful streams of water also wrapped around her body, splitting the air around her and pushing it away.

At the same time, a strange, almost terrifying change began. Her body transformed...

The transformation was done, but there wasn\'t that much of a change. Her hard simply stood on end, and her irises were done, leaving only her sclera behind. It was as though she had been possessed.

The most prominent change, however, was the change in the mana flow patterns around her. The intensity of the mana surrounding her quadrupled. Water elemental mana formed a tidal wave that was compressed over and over again until it was as thin as a blade\'s edge.

Her voice was laced with calm lethality;

"Thousand Cut Death: Eviscerating Water Blade."

Then she began to swing...

Fast...

Faster...

Every time she swung her sword, a thin water blade was released onto the body of the falling Abyssal Creature.

She released a thousand swings in a single second...

Blood exploded from the body of the creature the moment it reached the ground, dying the earth red.

Although her face was pale, she stood steadily on her feet. Her attack had caused far more damage than Lin Lin\'s. Although the area of attack was small, the compressed water blades were able to reach the creature\'s internal organs before exploding to deal maximum damage.

A shrill shriek came from the creature as it crashed into the ground with a loud bang...

However, things weren\'t over yet. The most powerful of them all was going to deliver the killing blow.

Her body flashed with the destroying power of lightning as she moved...

Her face was distorted with rage. 5he clouds in the sky seemed to shift according to this rage as the flashes of lightning and the rolling of thunder responded to the changes in her mana.

As her body crackled with lightning, Cain got to witness a peculiar thing. The lightning that was boiling in the sky suddenly struck down. However, instead of inflicting direct harm, coalesced into a gigantic blade of lightning that sat in Leah\'s hands.

Covered in ancient-looking runes, Cain couldn\'t make heads or tails of what these runes were.

"A strong beast is still a beast at the end of the day. Lightning purifies filth, and it just so happens that you are a very filthy creature."

Her words were uncalled for and arrogant, but they were the truth. For creatures of darkness like the {Abyssal Millionth Beast} and the {Abyssal Realm Walkers} elements like light, fire, and lightning were the bane of their existence. Someone with an affinity for these elements would have an easier time battling against them compared to others.

Leah\'s lightning was incredibly powerful. There was something archaic and mystical about it...

Oblivious to Cain\'s presence, the Beastwoman yelled at the top of her lungs,

"Raijin\'s Battle Armament, First Form: Crackling Sword of Annihilation!"

Brandishing the blade, she turned into a furious bolt of lightning as she streaked across the exposed side of the beast. The blade dug deep, tearing the creature apart with the terrifying power of lightning...

"Urggghhhaa!"

Her yell was filled with boundless rage as she pushed forward. Coming to a halt, black blood sizzled across the lightning blade. With a flourish of the blade, the putrid black blood scattered onto the ground.

She had cut straight through the side of the creature. The power contained in the blade of lightning was violent and destructive. It was also a perfect counter for a creature like the {Abyssal Millionth Beast}.

However...

If it went down so easily, its potential as a Celestial-grade creature would be a lie.

Just as she was about to announce their win, a thick aura of death suddenly assaulted her from behind.

Eyes widening, she turned around...
