I'm the Owner of the Pokémon Day Care In the World of Pokémon

Chapter 813: Captured

Chapter 813: Captured

The breeder assigned to Yuga was relatively young, but their breeding skills were quite good, and Trapinch and Hoppip had adapted well to their care.

Once the Pokémon Exchange Conference started, Trapinch and Hoppip would have to move back and forth between the Aircraft and the Forest Park. This would be a challenge for the still-young Pokémon, so keeping them in good condition was crucial.

When Yuga returned to his room, he found that both Shin and Kazuma were nowhere to be seen. After asking Hatsuki, he learned that they had gone to the training grounds to train with the trainers from Aroma Day Care.

They had been worried about Yuga while he was away, but upon hearing that he had returned safely, they eagerly headed to the training grounds.

Seeing that it was getting late, Yuga had initially planned to rest since they had to visit the Forest Park the next day.

Although the Forest Park had already allocated spaces for each Day Care, adjustments were still needed according to specific requirements from each Day Care.

However, just as Yuga was about to close his eyes, Hatsuki informed him that Petal wanted to see him.

Yuga didn\'t need to guess what Petal wanted; it was definitely about Torterra.

Petal was very interested in the Harvest Tree on Torterra\'s back. Not only did he ask Yuga for leaves and bark from the Harvest Tree, but he also tried to borrow Torterra to uncover the secret of the Harvest Tree.

Although Yuga was curious about the secret of the Harvest Tree himself, he only gave Petal the leaves and bark and refused to lend Torterra.

Since Yuga wouldn\'t lend him Torterra, Petal had to ask Yuga to assist with his research.

Petal was a very focused individual, and Yuga stayed with him in the treatment room until late at night. When he woke up the next morning, he had panda eyes.

After breakfast, Yuga decided to take a walk before heading to the Forest Park to clear his mind.

The scenery in the suburbs of Lumiose City was quite nice, especially during spring. The green grass and colorful flowers made it perfect for a morning stroll.

Shin and Kazuma insisted on following Yuga when they saw him heading out, so he took them along.

After walking on the grassy field not far from the Aircraft, Yuga took Shin and Kazuma to a nearby small forest. He released his main Pokémon to let them enjoy the fresh morning air of Lumiose City.

Following Yuga\'s lead, Shin and Kazuma also released their Pokémon.

Yuga played with his Pokémon for a while, but then he noticed Bonnie rushing past the edge of the forest, crying and looking panicked.

Probably because she was in a hurry, Bonnie did not see Yuga and the others in the forest.

What could be wrong?

"Bonnie!"

Yuga called out loudly to Bonnie.

Upon hearing Yuga\'s voice, Bonnie finally saw him. Her eyes lit up, but she quickly ran to Yuga, still in tears.

"Big brother, please, you have to save my brother. He\'s been captured."

"Clemont has been captured? Bonnie, calm down. Tell me what happened."

Yuga was very surprised to hear that Clemont had been captured. While comforting Bonnie, he asked for the details of what had happened.

Because Bonnie had been crying heavily, her words came out in fragments, but Yuga managed to piece together the rough sequence of events.

In the morning, after they had sent their father to the city, Clemont and Bonnie were on their way back home. Clemont spotted the same Magnemite he had seen in the city yesterday.

In his eagerness to capture it, Clemont immediately grabbed Bonnie\'s hand and chased after it.

As they chased the Magnemite, they ended up getting farther and farther from home. Then they encountered three powerful Pokémon.

These three Pokémon wasted no time and launched an attack on Clemont. He tried to protect Bonnie while battling the three Pokémon, but in the end, he couldn\'t withstand their combined strength and was captured.

Interestingly, these three Pokémon didn\'t harm Bonnie and only took Clemont, the one they had knocked out.

After listening to Bonnie\'s account, Yuga found it highly suspicious that they had encountered the same Magnemite two days in a row, once in the city and once in the suburbs. It raised questions about the Magnemite\'s behavior and its range of activity.

"A small Magnemite like that having such a wide range of activity? Lumiose City isn\'t a small place like Verdanturf Town," Yuga thought to himself.

"Come on, I\'ll help you find your brother."

Yuga released his Absol. He couldn\'t ignore Clemont\'s danger, especially since he knew about it.

"But, Gym Leader! What about the Forest Park?"

Seeing Yuga preparing to leave, Shin furrowed his brow and asked.

"I\'m entrusting that to both of you."

Yuga believed that Shin and Kazuma could handle the task of adjusting the park without any issues.

"But..."

"I trust you both. If Momiji asks about me, just tell her I had an urgent matter to attend to."

Yuga understood the urgency of the situation, and compared to the matters at the Forest Park, Clemont\'s safety was paramount.

"I understand, Gym Leader. You go with confidence," Kazuma assured Yuga that they would handle the situation at the Forest Park.

Yuga lifted Bonnie onto Absol\'s back and mounted it himself.

"Bonnie, show me the way to where your brother was captured."

Bonnie nodded and pointed Absol in the right direction.

Once the direction was clear, Absol began to gallop towards their destination.

"Big brother, will this cause you trouble, helping my brother?"

From Yuga and Shin\'s earlier conversation, Bonnie sensed that Yuga had other matters to attend to.

"Don\'t worry, there\'s nothing important going on. Rescuing your brother is the top priority," Yuga reassured her with a smile as he gently patted Bonnie\'s head.

Bonnie felt relieved after hearing Yuga\'s words.

Absol\'s speed was impressive, and it didn\'t take long for Yuga and Bonnie to arrive at the location where Clemont had been captured.

It was an open grassy field with clear signs of a battle. Some areas were scorched black and there were long scratches in the ground, as if it had been cut by a massive blade.

The scorched areas were probably caused by Electric-type attacks, which was Clemont\'s specialty.

As for the scratches, it was harder to determine. Many types of moves, such as Normal, Flying, Grass, and even Psychic, could have similar effects.

However, Yuga couldn\'t help but wonder why someone would capture Clemont. Even though Clemont was the designated future Gym Leader for Lumiose City, he hadn\'t officially taken up the position yet.

Was there some hidden reason behind Clemont\'s capture?
