I'm the Owner of the Pokémon Day Care In the World of Pokémon

Chapter 779: Encounter

Chapter 779: Encounter

If all these Aron and Lairon were placed in one location, it wouldn\'t take long to clear out a mountain.

The gathering place for Aron, Lairon, and Aggron on Dewford Town was said to be underground, under strict supervision by the League Forest Rangers. The purpose was to control their numbers and prevent them from devouring Dewford Town.

Among the Aron and Lairon that Yuga received, only four had green potential, comprising two Aeon and two Lairon. There was none with potential of blue or higher, while the rest had yellow potential.

It\'s no wonder that no one besides Yuga wanted to take on this group of Pokémon; it simply didn\'t make sense. The value of four green potential Pokémon couldn\'t even cover the cost of feeding these one hundred and fifty gluttons.

It\'s said that the number of Aron and Lairon to be relocated was much higher than this, but they compressed the number to one hundred and fifty, fearing Yuga wouldn\'t be able to care for them all, relocating the rest elsewhere.

Even so, Yuga lightened their burden significantly.

In truth, Yuga could handle more Aron and Lairon, but he didn\'t want to take on too many, both to avoid suspicion and because it would be too much work.

The potential of the remaining Aron and Lairon weren\'t great, and if Yuga took them all, it would raise problems for their future management.

The League had decided to relocate those Aron and Lairon to the wild and allow other trainers to catch them. Although their potential weren\'t great, they were still valuable due to their species. Besides, most Pokémon in the wild area didn\'t have excellent potential, and everyone knew that.

Considering that Yuga had helped them share a significant burden, they also specially gifted Yuga a green potential Aggron as the leader of this group of Pokémon. So it would make it easier for Yuga to manage Aron and Lairon.

This gesture was quite considerate because there were no fully evolved Aggron among the Pokémon that needed relocation; this one had been specially selected from the Dewford Town gathering place.

Carrying the Poké Balls containing Aron and Lairon, Yuga entered the Ecopark.

Before heading to the Mine Sub-Ecopark, Yuga first hired a bodyguard for himself.

These Aron and Lairon had been caught in the wild, and if Yuga wanted them to behave, he might have to use force.

As expected, when he arrived at the Mine Sub-Ecopark and released the leading Aggron, it immediately launched an attack on Yuga.

The Pokémon at Yuga\'s side was a Breloom. When it saw that the Aggron was about to attack Yuga, it rushed forward and began pummeling the Aggron with its fists until the Aggron begged for mercy.

This Aggron wasn\'t high level or low level; it was around level forty. Faced with a pseudo-Elite level Breloom, it had no power to resist.

Once the Aggron was subdued, the other Aron and Lairon were easy to handle. Since their leader had submitted, they wouldn\'t dare to challenge their trainer recklessly.

This was the advantage of having a leader; as long as you managed the leader well, you could effectively control the entire Pokémon group. Otherwise, Yuga would have had to subdue them one by one.

"From now on, you will live here. You can freely eat the minerals and rocks here."

Yuga said to the Aggron and its companions.

The Aggron that had just been beaten was originally rubbing its head in a pitiful manner. However, when it heard Yuga\'s words, its eyes lit up, and it stopped rubbing its head, looking excited as it crawled along the ground.

As Steel and Rock-type Pokémon, Aggron could sense the abundant mineral content in this mine. Living in a place with such a large and plentiful supply, they would be very happy in the future.

When they were in the gathering place on Dewford Town, these Aron, Lairon, and Aggron had their food intake restricted.

Excessive consumption of minerals would accelerate their reproduction, leading to ecological imbalances on Dewford Town. It could also damage the underground structure of Dewford Town, and in severe cases, even lead to the island sinking.

So, despite their imposing appearance, they were actually malnourished, including the Aron and Lairon.

Pokémon like them, of Steel type, and Rock type, if they couldn\'t find a suitable habitat and didn\'t have enough food, were prone to malnutrition. The most obvious sign was that their armor lacked luster, and their hardness was insufficient.

Now, the Aggron looked at Yuga with joy and gratitude in its eyes, and it started to eat happily, joined by the Aron and Lairon. The whole Mine Sub-Ecopark was filled with the unpleasant sound of steel and rocks grinding, "crunch, crunch," which was quite harsh.

"Remember, there\'s also an Onix here. It will be your leader in the future, so you must listen to it." Yuga didn\'t say the latter part out loud, to avoid hurting the Aggron\'s pride, as it had just been defeated.

This particular Aggron was quite young, according to Steven, it had recently evolved into its final form, so its temperament wasn\'t fully mature yet.

While Aggron and its companions were busy eating, Yuga wasn\'t sure if they were paying attention to his words. After emphasizing a few times and seeing that they still didn\'t seem to care, Yuga let it be.

Perhaps Aggron and its crew needed a good beating.

Not long after Yuga left the Mine Sub-Ecopark, Aggron met the Onix.

Before this, Onix had been sleeping in the Mine\'s Sub-Ecopark. It needed to accumulate strength to evolve into Steelix.

Yuga didn\'t using Metal Coat to help Onix evolve into Steelix. It was already on the verge of evolving, and with the abundant mineral resources in the Mine Sub-Ecopark, it could naturally achieve natural evolution.

A Steelix evolved naturally would be much stronger than one forced through artificial means. Yuga had no intention of wasting his efforts on the latter.

This Giant Onix, which Yuga had captured in the Petalburg Forest, had been alive for a long time to accumulate its natural evolution. Otherwise, Yuga didn\'t want to waste time waiting for it.

The Onix buried itself underground in a location rich in minerals. However, Aggron found its way there and, in excitement, began to feast. Before long, a large pit had been gnawed out of the ground, revealing the buried Onix.

The Aggron that was busy biting into the earth had yet to realize what had happened. It seemed confused as to why it couldn\'t chew through the rock.

The Onix, which had been rudely awakened, hadn\'t opened its eyes yet and instinctively swept its tail.

Yuga\'s Onix was an exceptional specimen, an extraordinary Giant among Onix. Even compared to Aggron, it was enormous. The Onix\' tail effortlessly knocked the Aggron aside, causing it to tumble.

The Onix had fully regained its consciousness now, and it looked at the tumbling little Aggron, not knowing what had just occurred.

But Aggron got angry. It had been beaten by a Breloom not long ago, and now someone else had given it a swipe without warning. Its temper, which wasn\'t great to begin with, couldn\'t take it.

After getting back on its feet, Aggron charged towards the large pit it had created, wanting to confront whoever had dared to bully the "Dewford Town Little King."

At this point, the Onix had fully woken up and was observing the approaching little creature with confusion. It seemed to be wondering what was going on.

After Aggron charged over, it noticed a gigantic creature standing there, casually striking the ground with its tail, creating waves of dust. Next to it, a massive rock was reduced to rubble by the tail\'s impact.

Do you need something?

Aggron seemed to read the Onix\' intentions from its enormous, perplexing eyes.

No, no, I was just passing by.

Aggron quickly backed down, its head shaking like a rattle.

The imposing presence of the gigantic creature was overwhelming, and Aggron suddenly felt the urge to urinate.

The Giant Onix watched the bewildered little creature shaking its head in confusion and decided to dig a hole and return underground to continue its slumber.

From start to finish, the Onix remained oblivious to the situation, while Aggron had managed to scare itself out of its wits.

Oh my! That was terrifying! Where did that monster come from?

Aggron sat down on the ground, wearing an expression of fear that was completely at odds with its fierce appearance. It had completely forgotten Yuga\'s warning before he left.

From that point on, Aggron knew that there was a formidable figure here that it couldn\'t mess with. Even if it couldn\'t see the imposing figure of this boss, it would behave itself obediently.

It\'s unclear whether Aggron was being timid or just showing good judgment.
