I'm the Owner of the Pokémon Day Care In the World of Pokémon

Chapter 103: Luna’s Scream

Chapter 103: Luna\'s Scream

At that moment, Windy approached and said, "Boss! We\'ve got our first order. The customer said they\'ll come to the store in three days."

Yuga exclaimed in surprise, "So soon? What\'s the customer\'s name? Where are they from?"

Windy replied, "It\'s a gentleman named Mr.Taro from Fortree City."

Yuga nodded, "I see. I didn\'t expect to get business right after we released our information. It seems my idea was a good one."

If Yuga managed to sell the three Pokémon each month, his income would be close to 1.5 million. After deducting some labor costs, it would mostly be pure profit.

This was because the cost of raising these Pokémon for Yuga was quite low.

Firstly, maintaining and managing the Ecopark didn\'t require Yuga\'s attention, so that was no cost. This aspect constituted the majority of expenses for most Pokémon breeders.

Secondly, the management and training of these Pokémon were all carried out by their respective leaders. Yuga just needed to oversee their leaders.

Furthermore, the presence of Guardian Orb not only made these Pokémon grow faster but also enhanced their reproductive abilities and greatly reduced the chance of illness, saving Yuga costs.

Lastly, Yuga only needed to make Pokéblocks and pay Suzuki and Windy\'s salaries.

The materials for making Pokéblocks came from the Ecopark, so there were no material costs. Apart from Yuga, there were only a few others working on production—almost just plushies and Miltanks—so labor costs were minimal.

The combined salaries of Suzuki and Windy were also less than ten thousand, a drop in the bucket compared to 1.5 million.

Considering all these factors, Yuga\'s business was indeed quite profitable.

After Windy informed Yuga about the order, he returned to monitoring the website on the computer.

While everyone in the store was busy, a sudden excited scream echoed from outside, a voice that sounded all too familiar.

Just as Windy was wondering what was happening, the owner of that scream burst into the store like a cannonball.

"Big Brother Yuga, I\'m here!"

When the newcomer saw that the person behind the cash register wasn\'t the usual Suzuki, she hesitated for a moment before asking, "Who are you?"

Before Windy could respond, the girl noticed Yuga and Suzuki who were busy on the side, and then quickly ran away.

"Big Brother Yuga, you\'re really amazing! You have such powerful Pokémon!"

She pointed towards the door as she spoke.

At that moment, everyone understood why she had screamed at the door. She had seen the Great Flygon dozing on the roof.

As soon as Yuga heard the voice upon entering, he knew who had come. Other than his little cousin, there was no one else with such a loud and distinct voice. Without even raising his head, he asked, "Why are you here?"

Upon hearing Yuga\'s words, Luna complained, "You have such a powerful Flygon and you didn\'t even tell me. If it weren\'t for my classmates discussing it, I wouldn\'t have known until now!"

Verdanturf Town wasn\'t large, so any slightly sensational news would quickly spread everywhere. The fact that Yuga had a Powerful Flygon had caused quite a stir even at the Trainer School.

Yuga glanced up at Luna, who was carrying a Swablu on her shoulder, and gave her a look, saying, "There are many things you don\'t know. Your big brother is much more amazing than you think."

Luna replied irritably, "Hmph, you\'re just trying to act mysterious!"

Yuga retorted just as irritably, "Instead of thinking about random things, you should focus on how to train your Swablu. When it evolves into an Altaria, it won\'t be any weaker than Flygon."

Hearing this, Luna\'s eyes lit up, and she asked, "Really? My Swablu can become that powerful too?"

"Of course it\'s true. Do you think I\'m lying to you? You can still pay me a salary if I am!"

Listening to Yuga\'s words, Suzuki, who was busy nearby, couldn\'t help but chuckle.

Luna happily took her Swablu off her head and gave it a kiss, saying, "Did you hear that, Swablu? You\'ll become that powerful too!"

Swablu nuzzled against Luna, and they both started giggling like children.

After giggling for a while, Luna suddenly hugged Swablu and ran outside, saying as she went, "Big Brother Yuga, just you wait! I\'m going to train with Swablu now, and I\'ll definitely defeat you and your Flygon in the future."

And so, Luna boldly made her statement and disappeared from Yuga\'s sight in the blink of an eye.

Seeing Luna\'s departing figure, Yuga shook his head helplessly.

Suzuki, standing beside him, laughed and commented, "That little girl is really full of energy."

Yuga inwardly quipped: She\'s got too much energy, if anything.

Speaking of which, Luna\'s attitude towards her Swablu now was completely different from how she treated Floette back then.

In the past, she had played quite roughly with Floette, almost tormenting it, and she hadn\'t hesitated to order Floette around either. It had even left psychological scars on Floette.

Now, she treated her own Swablu completely differently. She treated it like a treasure, not letting it out of her sight.

Yuga thought: She\'s learned the art of double standards at such a young age. Not a very good habit!

Once all the Pokéblocks were packaged, Yuga checked the time and realized it was getting close to evening. He then moved the Pokéblocks that didn\'t need to be placed on the counter into the warehouse of the Ecopark.

After that, it was time for Yuga to conduct physical training with his Pokémon.

Since the Desert Sub-Ecopark had opened, Yuga had moved the training grounds for the Pokémon into the desert. Except for the 31 baby Pokémon and the Miltanks that looked after them, all the other Pokémon trained here.

Vulpix, Murkrow, Houndour, Swellow, Linoone, Yuga\'s four main Pokémon, the Great Flygon, the leader of Flygon tribe, and the leader of Gligar tribe were all part of this team.

The soft sand of the desert and the occasional sandstorm provided excellent conditions for the physical training of the Pokémon.

Yuga assigned tasks to Murkrow, Swellow, and Vivillon. They were to chase the sandstorms in the desert, training their stamina and enhancing their flying skills amidst the turbulent sand and gusts of wind.

As for Great Flygon, Flygon, and Gligar, because they were highly adapted to the desert environment and possessed strong sand control abilities, Yuga didn\'t send them to compete with a few flying-type Pokémon. Instead, he tied large stones to them and had them fly around the desert while carrying the weights.

The training for the other Pokémon was simpler—they just had to run on the yellow sand in the desert.

Running on the sand with their feet or paws wrapped up in the yellow sand created significant resistance, making it quite challenging for them to run.

The only Pokémon exempt from this training was Chimecho.

Chimecho, with its slender build, didn\'t need to do these exercises. Its sole task was to meditate, continuously elevating its spiritual power—a path it needed to follow.
