Chapter 94: The Plan II (Bonus chapter)

Moments before he was about to enter his chamber, she called him to the side to tell him something she had overheard, although Ha Joon didn\'t take to her at first, the look on her face seemed serious..

"The knights are trying to kill you." She says.

It turned out she had overheard Belinda and Lancelot when they were about taking Ha Joon out of the picture when she had been passing by Artoria\'s office.

But since Ha Joon was out of the capital at the time, she waited for his arrival, before she told him directly.

But of course she didn\'t do this without any ulterior motive. As soon as she told Ha Joon what she had heard, she went to her knees and requested he make her his personal maid instead of Yukio.

"I\'ll get back to you." Was simply Ha Joon\'s reply, before walking away.

Now he knew he had enemies within the knights, this was when he also realized it wasn\'t just the knights, but also almost all of Camelot, excluding the beast clan– but they didn\'t always respect him.

They only respected him as such after he single handedly defeated their demigod.

To make matters worse, he noticed Zex had managed to sneak into the capital, and somehow, the knights didn\'t figure it out.

They were relaxed. For a single person to be able to sneak into the main capital just like that… was simply because they depended way too much on the roundtable knights.

His plan only came into confirmation after he spoke to Sinex and realized – this was the best course of action if Camelot was ever going to grow.

Firstly, he needed a way to get close to the goddess and acquire as much information as possible, in case she ever attacked.

Secondly, he needed a way, a scenario where Artoria would be viewed as the ultimate savior, for the people of Camelot to realize, they can\'t do anything without Artoria. But for that, he needed to push Artoria to the wall, and make her fight back with all she had. Camelot needed to be sucked of all hope.

And thirdly, he wanted to be the one to come in at the end, as the god who finally put an end to the chaos, gaining respect from everyone, including Artoria herself.

And so, he began his plan.

He first rose through the ranks of the Red wings, and once he was at the top, he began to get close to the Goddess, gathering knowledge while also putting the cult in check.

At the same time, he had constructed special artifacts, called soul plates, and placed them all around the capital.

Once the soul plate was activated, anyone who died within its proximity got his/her soul sucked into it, and it\'s kept safe, to be sucked out later as a means of rival using his newly acquired skill, [Revive (Expert)] that he had learnt from a game.

Although it was completely draining him of mana, but unlike the rest, he had an infinite supply of mana from the world, so even if it felt like his body was running out, it could never truly finish.

Ha Joon began by putting fear into the hearts of Camelot, sending attacks upon attacks, so they would slowly understand what was at stake.

Then he needed them to hate him, if they hated him, it would only make them feel even more guilty when he finally steps in to help them– and what better pawn than to use the knights that want him dead, Lancelot and Belinda.

He also made it easy for rumors to spread about him, by making sure Artoria doesn\'t get involved in anything happening in the kingdom.

Everything was going exactly to his plan, and now, he was in the final phase — to bring Camelot to the ground, so he could build it back up.

Ha Joon stood inside the forest, he could see the sun had begun to rise, Yukio and Sinex standing beside him to give him assistance.

Grin!

"Let us begin."

Back at the capital, the knights had begun searching the place endlessly for the Red Wings, Artoria leading the charge.

She was already pissed about the fact they attacked and she didn\'t know about it, and to add to that, the fact she had to be the one to send Ha Joon to jail was eating her up… she needed a reason to kill, and this was as good as any.

Mordred gathered her knights and did the same, she already knew Sinex and Yukio were going to meet Ha Joon, now all she needed to do was kill the intruders and then she would make sure Ha Joon never returned to that jailhouse again.

Merlin and her mages were still trying to break the barriers, even from the outside, people from the other side had begun to panic after a mysterious barrier covered Camelot main capital.

All in all, the game was set, and Red wings had strategically stationed themselves all around the main capital, watching as the Knights and soldiers of great Camelot were looking for them.

Scorpion stood atop the tallest building, his arms folded as he looked directly at Artoria.

"Let the games begin."

"Should we attack?" Asked 004.

Scorpion kept quiet for a while, and with a smirk he replied, "Kill every single one of the civilians and knights, but no one is to touch the king…she is mine."

"As you wish." 004 stood up, and immediately signaled the rest.

This all nodded their heads, understanding the message.

Finally - they were prepared to bring Camelot to the ground.
