MMORPG: Divine Mech Hunter

Chapter 313: Blue Arrow Pull

Li Yao really couldn’t understand why such a person would seek help from players of opposing factions to complete his task.

At this stage, players haven’t clearly defined various bosses, and have no idea what a faction level boss implies.

Sch a powerful being, not to mention the forces he could command, was enough to traverse unhindered amongst ancient deities.

In this area, there were only monsters of level ten or so. Being a druid with the talent of wind spells, he could probably destroy all the undead results of Dicelan’s level ten or so with a single storm.

It’s unimaginable that such a being would ask them to complete a task.

On the other hand, meeting a super strong being that had lived since ancient times was where Li Yao’s hope of infiltrating the headquarters lay.

Li Yao’s Titan’s Eye could change some features and data. As a High Elf, Li Yao himself was not far from the Ancient Elf.

It won’t be difficult to transform into an Ancient Elf by changing the color of his skin and eyes and adding some facial patterns.

The difficulty lay in the fact that he had no identity proof. He couldn’t be some elf that had popped out of a stone! Without a letter of introduction from the instructor in the Beginner’s Village for Ancient Elves, he wouldn’t be recognized.

In the wild, maybe he could fool some people, but it would be impossible for him to enter the headquarters, let alone the temple.

But having seen Colin Starfire, Li Yao faintly sensed that his task must be unusual, and he didn’t want the recruits (players) of his own faction to know about these circumstances, hence he hired people from the opposing faction.

“You finished quite quickly, this is your reward.” As Colin Starfire spoke, a few skill books appeared in front of each person: “Each of you choose one.”

After Colin Starfire finished speaking, he began to fiddle with an array, nobody knew what he was up to.

Li Yao was looking at the skill books placed in front of him — a total of three.

Killing Order: Commands your pet to launch a fierce attack, the next skill or attack causes 200% damage, consumes 5% blue power, cooldown time – ordinary pet:10 seconds, elite pet:20 seconds, Silver British Pet: 45 seconds, junior boss: 1 minute, intermediate boss: 2 minutes.

Rift: Tears a wound on the target, causing 100% + 35% physical damage within 12 seconds, consumes 3% blue power, cooldown time: 40 seconds.

Blue Arrow Pull: Depletes the opponent’s magic value, hitting the target consumes 20% of the blue power, and in the following ten seconds, it consumes 2% of the blue power every second, cooldown time: 15 seconds.

Li Yao drew a deep breath; the three skills were formidable.

The Killing Order is Beast King’s favorite skill; it can significantly enhance the damage of pets. Also, this skill is very rare.

Rift is a skill loved by survival series or Amazons, causing bleeding damage. This skill is fine, but Li Yao doesn’t urgently need this skill because of the Flying Round Blade.

If it weren’t for the third skill, Li Yao would definitely not forego the Killing Order. He had his eyes on this skill book all yesterday on the auction site.

Blue Arrow Pull has no offensive power, but its effect is what Li Yao valued most.

While rarely can any opponents last for fifteen seconds under him at present, that’s not a reason to give up on Blue Arrow Pull. This skill is even rarer and can only be obtained through some particular tasks.

Since it’s not taught by the instructor and doesn’t fall in the world, if Li Yao missed it now, he wouldn’t know when such an opportunity would appear again. Therefore, Li Yao regretfully gave up Killing Order and chose Blue Arrow Pull.

Claw also made his choice and only Little Elves, the pet, was struggling. She asked, “Master, which skill should I choose? I am in such a dilemma.”

Only then did Li Yao glance at her three skill books and suddenly, a wave of jealousy surged within him. She could obviously fast-track to becoming an elite.

“You indeed need to be cautious about this. This isn’t just a skill book, it’s an Elite Profession Inheritance Book. It seems that this predecessor values you a lot,” Li Yao explained.

“What’s an Elite Profession Inheritance Book?” Little Elves asked confusedly.

“If you choose one to learn, you’ll become an elite profession. I don’t know what to say about your luck.” Others struggled so hard to become elite, and even got killed several times.

Even Li Yao had to complete several damn difficult missions to become a Dark Ranger. But look at others, they easily obtained it, and even got to choose among three elite professions.

“Little sister, you like doing tasks. In the future, you may do as you please. I won’t be taunting you anymore,” Scratchmark speechlessly lamented. This was simply unbelievable, enough to drive one up the wall!

“Master, you still haven’t told me which one I should choose?” Little Elves excitedly said.

Li Yao glanced at it and said, “All three are quite good. One is Void Summoning. Upon learning it, you can summon some potent creatures of the different world, but there’s one disadvantage – it’s too random. Each time, the monster you summon varies and isn’t controllable. You might summon a boss this time and a level 1 slime the next. This profession requires a lot of luck.”

“Er, that seem so unreliable. What about Elf Summoning?” Little Elves asked.

“Elf Summoning is an advanced version of what you can summon now, you can summon stronger Elemental Spirits.” Li Yao pointed at the last one and said, “This is the contract book of Summoning via Contract. Upon learning, you’ll be able to contract a variety of creatures like a Hunter, and not just simple beasts. This profession is hard to define; if you contract a powerful pet, it’s amazing, if you don’t contract a good one, then it’s pathetic.”

“Is that so? Can Summoning via Contract be used to contract a Giant Dragon?” Little Elves asked.

“Theoretically, yes,” Li Yao answered. Contracting a Giant Dragon, that wouldn’t be easy.

“Then I will choose that one,” said Little Elves.

Seeing Little Elves choose Summoning via Contract, Li Yao finally remembered that she seemed to be a Summoner via Contract in her previous life, and was a maverick figure. It seemed like the young girl in front of him was her.

Li Yao heard that this player was incredibly lucky, she even came into a contract with a Time Dragon while doing a mission. However, Li Yao never saw her. Now looking at the Little Elves, he started to understand.

“A task master, maybe I can pull her into the guild to do guild tasks.” Li Yao made a decision to find an opportunity to pull the sibling duo into the guild. The guild didn’t have a group that specializes in tasks for now, with someone like Little Elves leading who liked varied tasks would be useful for the guild.

Unbeknownst to Li Yao, the siblings had wanted to join the guild for quite a while. They only held back because Starfire only adopted elite players…
