The Strongest Dragon in the Era of Beast Taming

Chapter 46 - 46: Ice Tornado (Please follow!)

David didn’t choose to disturb Rainbow’s online shopping experience and instead picked up the fish food and walked over to the fish tank.

He had been busy all day and hadn’t fed Goldy yet!

In the fish tank, a Red-tailed Goldfish with shimmering golden scales was swimming non-stop. It seemed to notice David’s approach, and its cute big eyes revealed a faint hint of happiness.

Seeing this, David also smiled slightly and directly sprinkled some fish food into the tank.

As he watched Goldy in the tank open its mouth, constantly eating the animal feed at the corner of its mouth, David felt somewhat sentimental.

This little fellow was probably the first pet he had.

It’s just that Goldy wasn’t very powerful when it absorbed the Dragon Force, and its strength had remained at Level II Fresh. Its body was now only about fifty centimeters long.

As a result, David used all of his Dragon-Wielding power on Rainbow and strengthening Dragon Crystals.

It couldn’t be helped, as his physical strength had limits too. Without taking supplements every day, he could only use Strengthening five times.

It had been almost half a month since Goldy had last been strengthened. Thinking of this, David stretched his right hand into the fish tank and gently touched Goldy, then used Dragon Force to strengthen it after a long time. Goldy in the tank only felt a familiar warmth from David’s palm. It wagged its tail comfortably, and its scales shone with a dazzling golden light.

“Keep it up, and grow well,” David said softly.

Goldy paused for a moment, as if it understood what David said. It affectionately rubbed against his palm with its body and happily spit out some bubbles.

Looking at Goldy in front of him, David had once thought that his first pet contract should be with the Red-tailed Goldfish.

After all, Red-tailed Goldfish was a rare pet containing Dragon bloodline.

But after the Talent experiment, Goldy’s reaction to Dragon Force was not as good as he had expected. So he gave up on this hellish idea and chose the Coldjade Snake instead.

After feeding Goldy, David went over to Rainbow’s side.

“How’s it going? Have you made your selection?”

“Yiiyah!” (Selected!)

Rainbow let out a crisp cry, and then handed the floating Pear Phone to David.

David looked at the items in the shopping cart of the Trainer Guild app on the phone with a strange expression.

“I get the Spirit Fish, but why did you buy a drawing board too?”

“Yiiiyaaa!” (~ ? ) ~ (I want to learn to draw!)

“Drawing?” David was stunned.

What kind of strange development was this? How did his pet Rainbow suddenly want to learn painting?

“Yiiyiyiyah!” (I like drawing!)

As if sensing David’s surprise, Rainbow glanced at him unhappily.

Her learning to paint was not a big deal. What a curious Trainer he was.

Feeling Rainbow’s contemptuous gaze, David smiled helplessly. “Alright, alright, as long as you like it, learning painting is not a bad idea.”

“Just don’t neglect your regular cultivation,” David gently reminded.

“Yiiyiyah!” o(V)d (I’ll handle it, don’t worry!)

Rainbow adorably tilted her head.

There was no need for her trainer to remind her about cultivation.

Every day, 24 hours a day, besides training and fighting, she was always practicing the Seven-Greedy Calm Mind in her mind.

Strangely enough, this incomplete Calm Mind was a perfect fit for her.

Even when she was asleep, this meditation method could run autonomously, continuously improving her mental power cultivation.

However, the passive improvement of mental efficiency would be much lower than when she actively meditated and guided it.

At first, Rainbow was a bit unaccustomed to this efficient cultivation method.

But after having friendly communication with her Trainer and confirming it was safe, she naturally chose to adapt.

There was no way she would give up on such a powerful meditation technique.

The next morning, David Jones happily got up to jog and picked up the express delivery that Rainbow had ordered the night before.

In order for Rainbow to better watch videos and learn skills, David had bought a brand-new Pear Phone on the market, worth more than five thousand Star coins.

After breakfast, David opened the express package, skillfully switched to the new phone, and then formally gifted his Pineapple Phone, which he had used for several years, to Rainbow.

Compared to the new phone, he wouldn’t be heartbroken if the old one broke, making it perfect for Rainbow to use her Confusion to learn new skills on the internet.

Looking at Rainbow manipulating her mind and curiously playing with the phone and the drawing board on the table, David nodded in satisfaction.

Now, there were not many open-minded Trainers like him, as countless Pet Monsters were addicted to the internet in the Flowery Kingdom.

Under the strange guidance and personal demonstration of some Trainers, every year there would be a batch of internet-addicted Pet Monsters in the Flowery Kingdom.

However, David believed in Rainbow’s willpower; she wouldn’t pick up bad habits on the internet.

He was just simply baffled by Rainbow’s interest in painting, feeling puzzled in his heart.

“Let’s go, Rainbow. Today, we’re going to learn a new skill at the Guild.”

Stashing his brand-new phone in his pocket, David said confidently.

“YiiYa.”

With a flick of her tail, Rainbow leaped from the table to David’s arm.

She preferred to coil around David when going out, enjoying the sensation without any other reason.

Inside the Primary Ice Training Ground of the Trainer Guild.

“Come on, Rainbow, try to feel the Ice Tornado again.”

“YiiYa!” (//’?’//) (Okay!)

Rainbow slowly recalled the release process in the instructional video and patiently guided the cold air around her.

A faint sound of dragon chanting seemed to ring in David’s ears as the fallen snow on the ground began to display a hint of spirituality.

Gradually, they turned into a pure white snow dragon, rising with an icy coldness that made David shiver involuntarily at its side.

In David’s astonished gaze, the majestic snow dragon was wrapped in a transparent and extreme-cold air current, quickly swirling around and gathering Ice energy to form a frost-patterned whirlwind.

The whirlwind expanded, covering the area in a layer of frost, and the snow dragon roared within it, stirring up the snowflakes on the ground.

“Is this the Ice Tornado?”

The magnificent sight also led many Ice-type Trainers practicing skills nearby to exclaim in astonishment.

Accompanied by a loud noise, Rainbow’s Ice Tornado hit a distant iceberg.

After a moment, the rampaging Ice Tornado vanished, and the small iceberg’s height was reduced by several meters, with the iceberg’s surface full of pits and dents.

“YiiYa!” (V)~* (I’ve learned the Ice Tornado!)

Looking at the distant iceberg that had been ravaged, Rainbow let out an excited cry.

“Incredible, you really are the most talented Coldjade Snake!”

David couldn’t hide the excitement in his heart and praised her heartily..
