Chapter 270: The Comprehensions of a God, G-Enforcer #45
With the ceaseless continuation of time, thousands of Beta Realm Experts emerged among those descended from Hakram and Harkath.
They scoured the 100,000+ multiverse-sized world of Pandora. Exploring and discovering, they wished to see just where the limits of this world lie.
Following the passing of the Epochs, totaling more than 5 trillion years, something changed within Pandora. It was something that not a single one of the Apex Hegomines could\'ve predicted…
RUMBLE!!
The entire world started to shake! It quaked and rumbled as violent universe-shattering tremors spread throughout the land!
After a great many years of these soul-trembling rumbles unrelentlessly occurring, they finally stopped…
It was unknown what had caused these tremors, and it was even more of a mystery as to what had ceased their activity. But what those from tens of trillions of years later were able to discover was that it was very probable that one of the Ancient Emperors came back from the dead. This referred to those who preceded the most recent Heavenly Transfiguration.
Of the mighty Ancient Emperors recorded in the faded Scriptures, there was really only one that anybody speculated to have lived so long. That Ancient Emperor being…
Harkath, the Original Omen!
The Divine Emperor! The Herald of the Crimson God!
Of course, no one actually knew if it truly was the awakening or breakthrough of Harkath that caused the billion-year-long intermittent tremors. But what they did know was that something ridiculously powerful reared its head over that period of time.
As for the intentions of this powerful existence… Well, the leading figures of Pandora just hoped that they were on their side…
But regardless of what people thought of the legendary billion-year-tremors, time left everyone in the dust, taking with it all who lived beneath its domain.
...
80 trillion years later.
80 trillion years... It took 80 trillion years for the Heavenly Transfiguration to finally conclude.
At the end of this long stretch of time, a new Biome had opened up beside the Acidity Biome.
This time, it was the Aeronautics Biome!
This Biome was a stretch of billions of Multiverses, all of which connected together to form the world of the Sky.
It was quite literally a world where there was no land; only the clouds and wind permeated the heavens.
In the Aeronautics Biome, there lived people who stayed not on land or at sea but atop the clouds!
They were the definition of Sky People!
This was also what the ruling race of this Biome was called—the Sky People. They were bird-like people with wings and talons, but they possessed human torsos and faces.
In a way, they were Harpies.
However, among all of the current ruling races, the Harpy Sky People Race was the one with the highest chance of rising to the absolute top!
In fact, they already produced more than a dozen Powerhouses of the Middle Beta Realm, putting them near the very top of the current Power Hierarchy!
"..."
Azmodeus watched all of the changes happen to his Infinite World, and he did so with an expression devoid of emotion.
He no longer cared as much about this place as he once did. But if they could help him understand the essence of becoming a true god, then he would allow them to evolve in whichever direction they so chose.
"That Harkath is still alive… And the Peak Beta Realm… He will reach the Alpha Realm before long."
Azmodeus murmured to himself as he honed in on a miniscule speck of dust that resided atop a massive, multiverse-sized Star Beast.
The beast itself was some form of mythical Kun Peng, possessing spiraling horns that emitted dangerous levels of energy. Even the hide of this beast was analogous to a sheet of embedded crystals, covering the Kun Peng in its entirety.
However, in the midst of all these wondrous things, there sat a haggard middle-aged man in a lotus position. His long brown hair was long and wild, like a lion\'s mane, while his demeanor was befitting of one who spearheaded the world of Pandora toward the future.
This man was none other than Harkath, the Herald of the Crimson God!
Azmodeus was originally going to go and impart some profound knowledge to this questionable \'disciple\' of his—the last of his disciples…
But upon seeing that he was attempting a breakthrough into the Half-Step Alpha Realm, God backed away from this spot in space. Instead, he left the world and let things progress as they should.
If Harkath is destined for the Alpha Realm, then he will reach it even without my help. But if he is not, then he will die and become one with the nature of everything… Just as they did…
For but an instant, a hint of emotion almost flashed past Azmodeus\'s dead eyes. But before it showed any signs of a change, it disappeared. Along with its disappearance was the last of what remained of the being once known as Azmodeus.
He was still Azmodeus… But not the same one that Nao Long and Yang Hua knew. He was colder, more ethereal. Almost like a… god.
…
500 (Starry Expanse) Years Later.
Though this amount of time didn\'t seem like much when compared to the passing of Pandora\'s time, for the Starry Expanse, it was enough for a new contender to arise. One who did not take no for an answer…
"Pl-Please spare my life! I had no idea you were the Crimson Usurper! If I did, I would\'ve-!"
*Spurt!*
A hand passed through the chest of an extravagantly dressed floating man before an arm emerged from his chest.
