Chapter 140: Entering The Astral Plane
*Ding!* *Given the dire circumstances, it is recommended that the host use up his Evolution Essence in order to upgrade the \'Cloak\' Trait to A-Rank, upon which the host will acquire the ability to cloak parts of your existence, such as the hypothetical scenario where you don\'t sign a harmful contract.*
Azmodeus roughly understood what the system was saying, and after a moment of contemplation, he said, "Do it."
*Ding!* *You have used up 100 Tredecillion Evolution Essence in order to rank up your Cloak Trait to A-Rank, allowing you to escape the eyes of any experts below the Planet Forger Realm!*
*Ding!* *Along with the Chameleon Lepron Comet-Rank Physique, you are now able to hide various aspects of yourself from even those who just broke through to the Planet Forger Realm!*
Following all of the system notifications, Azmodeus checked up on the calm and composed Pan Nu before discreetly burning the contract.
After which, he acted like nothing had happened. However, when he recalled the fact that the girl on his shoulders didn\'t have the same Cloaking Ability, his expression morphed a little as he asked, "Do you mind if-"
But before he could finish his question, a faint light was emitted from Pan Nu\'s small body, causing the contract in front of her face to wither and fade away.
"???"
She noticed the confusion present in the horsie\'s crimson-colored eyes as she softly whispered, "Family stuff…"
"...Family stuff, huh…?"
Azmodeus wasn\'t even surprised anymore, as he let out a sigh before refocusing his attention on the ten illusory figures in the sky.
He was waiting for something to change within the shadowy expression of the Principality Prince\'s, and he wasn\'t forced to wait long as the leading Prince made an announcement:
"All of you have signed the benign contract; that is good. Now, if everyone will please move over here and pass through this door, we can get these Astral Leaps started."
Following the Prince\'s antediluvian voice, a sudden pull was felt by all the participants, clearly not giving anyone the option to back out.
"!!!" Azmodeus was not an exception to this abrupt pull, as he looked toward the misty-eyed girl being whisked away with a face that said this was normal procedure.
In fact, she was so relaxed about the situation that she even took out a cinnabon and started munching on it.
It was only after she got in a few good bites that she shouted, "I will see you on the other side! Be sure to come find me as soon as you reach the Astral Plane! I will be landing… around 50 miles to the west of where you will spawn!"
Following these words, her body vanished into an iridescent door that seemed more like a black hole than a door as it sucked in countless trillions of participants.
The Crimson Devil Lord was one of those to be sucked in, as the last thing he heard was \'50 miles to the West\'.
He naturally assumed that it was the usual voodoo that she was capable of predicting, as he kept her words in mind before letting his consciousness fade to black…
And when he reopened them once more, he found himself in free-fall within an airspace that looked nothing like the vibrant, luminescent world he just came from.
"I know there\'s no point asking this at this point in time, but where am I…?"
Azmodeus\'s puzzled voice traveled through the blue skies that enveloped him from all sides, reaching the ears of birds and insects alike as he plummeted toward the wide green and blue scenery below, seemingly on a direct collision course for a mountain!
Usually, such a fall from a few tens of thousands of miles in the air would be no biggie for him; however, there was something different about this situation…
My speed and strength… It looks like they\'re back to around the approximate power of someone in the Core Formation Realm, and with this height at such a speed…
He was looking at an extremely low chance of survival, but there was one thing that should be able to pull him through this hurdle, which was the fact that his regenerative speed had not diminished in the slightest!
And with how absurdly high his regeneration was with all the various boosters applied, there was roughly a 50% chance that he could make it out of this fall in one piece.
"I\'m willing to take those odds…"
The voice of a man traveling downwards like a cannonball echoed throughout the vast blue skies of the Astral Plane as he was mere meters away from touching base with a mountain!
And the moment he made contact with said mountain happened in an instant!
BOOOOOOM!!
A loud explosion reverberated, violently shaking the entire topography for hundreds of miles!
And at the center of a crater, there was a mangled bag of meat squirming around, causing the surrounding dust and sut to disperse.
The sight of this lump of meat wiggling and making unusual noises was one that would make anyone watching it feel uneasy.
But in the case of the burnt meat lump himself, he was glad that his bet ended up going in his favor, as it didn\'t take long before a pair of legs, a torso, and arms were formed from the blood and internal organs scattered across the crater\'s epicenter.
After a few seconds of further healing, a man of unparalleled beauty was standing upright at over 6 feet tall, his looks beyond human and his demeanor that of a reclusive sword immortal who knew nothing other than the everlasting pursuit of cultivation.
"That was quite a painful experience… But in the end, everything worked out," Azmodeus muttered to himself while scanning his surroundings, attempting to discern where he was.
Although his divine sense appeared to be severely limited, his vision hadn\'t decreased by much, so he used the old-fashioned way of seeing and saw…
Some forestry… A few bushes and some odd animals with weird color schemes and appendages…
...…
