The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 42

“Meow? Meow! Meow!”

However, Kyle naturally didn’t understand cat’s language and continued to carry Kate out of the house. This made Kate felt a bit desperate, especially when she saw that the others were actually excited about this.

“MEOW!”

Kate sulked.

Kyle naturally saw that and handed the responsibility of driving to Jake and sat on the back while holding Kate in one of his hand. Dylan sat in the shotgun seat, so there were only the two of them at the back.

Along with some equipment they planned to carry.

.....

“Are you angry, Little Kitty?”

“Meow?”

Kate looked at Kyle and then showed her back towards him again. Hmph! She refused to talk to him.

Seeing the little cat’s action that was so similar to a little kid throwing tantrum, Kyle was amused. He stretched his hand tapped the cat’s head tenderly, being careful enough so that he will not hurt her.

The touch was incredibly familiar and gentle. This made Kate’s heart softened a bit.

After all, she also understood that her position right now in this group was nothing more than a little cat who could carry equipment.

In their eyes, she’s nothing more than a little cat.

Even though she used to be human, they didn’t know about it at all.

“Meow...”

Kate was troubled.

“What is it, Little Kitty?” Kyle asked softly.

He didn’t press the little cat and allowed her to do whatever she wanted. Even though this little cat was a bit of a hassle from time to time, Kyle allowed her to freely play around and even throw tantrum at him.

Probably, even he didn’t realize how patient he was when facing this little cat.

“Meow.”

“You didn’t want to tell me, huh?”

“Meow”

Kyle looked at Kate helplessly. He was seriously considering asking his friend to make some kind of translation equipment that will allow him to understand cat’s language.

The problem is....

Even he was not sure that such device could be made.

After all, all he could hear from the cat was just some meow that didn’t sound that different aside from the pace. Some meowing was a bit fast, which he guessed will happen when the cat was upset.

When she felt comfortable, the pace would be a bit slower and the intonation was somewhat softer.

‘What am I doing here? Learning how to communicate with cat?’

Kyle was amused by his own action and shook his head. To think that there will come a day when he would try to learn animal language on his own volition. If this was in the past, he would think that he was going crazy.

There were so many things for him to do but he wasted it by learning animal’s language.

That was ridiculous.

“Kyle, we’re about to reach the gate. There are soldiers who guard the area.” Jake pointed to the front.

Kyle arched his eyebrows. “Use your parents’ card to get out. Can’t you even do something so simple?”

Jake was speechless.

“Fine, fine, fine, damn you.”

Kyle ignored the other party.

“Meow?”

Kate tilted her furry head in confusion.
