Villain: Transmigrated Into A NTR Manga As The Antagonist

Chapter 202: Some Much Needed Introspection

Those who remained were becoming increasingly agitated about not being chosen. And at the moment, both Hee-Young and Hae-Won were in an argument about who was next. Both of the women were roughly seven months pregnant and wanted to be chosen before one another.

After all, their daughters had both undergone the same transformation that they so desired, and they now felt left out. Alex however, was determined to choose who he wanted, and not to get pressured into choosing one of the two Milfs who were the last two heroines from his prologue that had yet to max out their affections with Alex.

Currently, the two mature beauties were in a heated debate about who should go first. With Hee-Young trying to place her noble status as a justification for her reason to go ahead of Hae-Won.

“And what would a filthy commoner like yourself know about beauty and the need for a woman to maintain it at all times? You’re lucky a man like Alex even gives you the time of day. My own noble daughter has undergone the transformation, and so I believe it is only right that I do as well!”

Hae-Won however shot back with a fact that poured salt over an open wound. As she addressed the weak points in Hee-Yooung’s argument.

“Oh really? Let’s not forget that Min-Ji was selected before your so-called noble daughter. And besides… I met Alex long before you did! If anything, I should be chosen next”

The two older women bickered among themselves about just who should be chosen next, while Alex tuned out their argument altogether. And instead sipped on a beer while resting in the lap of his aunt Shannon.

Shannon knew better than to try to persuade Alex about taking her next. She knew her nephew well enough to know that he was the type of man who responded negatively to ultimatums. Thus she did not say a word, despite herself wanting to go next as well.

Ultimately, Alex had enough of the little catfight and announced his decision to all his women who were present.

“You know what? Since the two of you have disturbed my peace, I’m not taking either of you! Instead, I’ll be taking Emily. So go get packed up and meet me down here when you’re ready!”

Emily was shocked that she was chosen. After all, Alex seemed to be choosing his women from Korea before those from America. Perhaps because the heroines he conquered in America had spent a lot more time with Alex than their counterparts from Korea. At least from a recent perspective.

And though this was a surprise, it was a welcome one, as Emily broke out into a cheerful smile and ran off to collect her belongings, which she had prepared weeks in advance for this fateful day. Hee-Young and Hae-Won could only pout, while glaring daggers at each other, as if they held the other responsible for their sudden defeat.

Before long, Emily had emerged from her bedroom with her ruck packed, and an eager smile on her pretty face. It had been years since she and Alex went camping together. And while the two of them were walking in the woods, she would comment about their childhood together.

“You remember all those years ago, when we were kids, and our families would drive out to zion national park together? We’d spend what a week? Or Two out there in the same campgrounds where we would roast s’mores of the fire, and play card games?”

Alex smirked as he heard this, and nodded his head while remembering a past that he had not actually lived himself, but felt as if he had.

“Yeah… I remember your dad trying to start a fire, claiming how he was an eagle scout when he was younger, but despite supposedly being one he could not for the life of him get that fire lit, and my uncle ended up having to do it instead!”

Emily pouted when she heard this, before talking back to Alex about his remarks regarding her father.

“Dad was totally an eagle scout. I saw his merit badges and everything! He just… Never actually got his wilderness survival… You do know it’s not actually required to become an eagle scout, right?”

This remark simply made Alex chuckle and shake his head. He wanted to say something further, but he knew that Emily had a good relationship with her parents, and thus insulting them, even if it was for the sake of humor was not a good idea.

Instead, Alex directed Emily’s attention to the cabin he had constructed with the help of Nari and a few of his other women.

“Behold, my little cabin in the woods! What do you think?”

Emily was stunned that Alex had built such a thing with nothing but some simple hand tools and a few resources he had gained from the outside world. She began to look at Alex differently after entering the cabin and exploring its limited interior. Once she had gotten a full understanding of its layout, she was quick to ask the man how he had achieved such a thing.

“You did all of this by yourself?”

As much as Alex wanted to take credit for the cabin’s construction, he had to share some of it with Nari and the others. Thus, he was quick to comment on this.

“Most of it. But I’d be lying if I did everything on my own. Sure, I could have done everything on my own, but it would have taken much longer to do so. Nari was a big help. It turns out she learned a thing or two about construction from her old man. Dal was also helpful in helping prepare meals for us so we didn’t have to waste time. And the other girls helped as well by providing fresh water for us. It was honestly a team effort.”

Emily looked at Alex with a curious expression. One that Alex found to be deeply unsettling. So much so that he was quick to ask why she was looking at him like that.

“Okay Emily, what gives? Why are you staring at me like that? It’s creepy!”

Emily scoffed and shook her head before admitting her thoughts out loud. Thoughts that actually stunned Alex into silence.

“You have changed… And I don’t just mean the two dozen women, and the casual sex with strangers… In the past you would have easily stolen credit for this just to impress me. But now…. Now you care enough about others to actually share what is due with them… I’m a little bit surprised…”

Alex thought about Emily’s words for a few moments in awkward silence. He cared about other people? Was that really the case? It took a deep sense of introspection and absolute peace and quiet for Alex to come to a conclusion about this.

And as much as he might want to tell himself he was just using these Heroines to gain God Status, and for their bodies. The reality was they had burrowed themselves deep in his heart, almost like a parasite, so much so that try as he might to get rid of this sense of companionship, he could not do so.

Emily realized she had said something that upset Alex, because the look on his face was one of deep confusion. She was just about to ask what had happened to him when he raised a hand and with a stoic expression on his face, made a single statement before walking out the door.

“I’m going to need some time to process what you said… Make yourself comfortable, I’m going to go get some work done on the smithy….”

After saying this, Alex left the cabin, leaving Emily entirely on her own. She, like Alex was utterly bewildered, but for different reasons. She had no idea why Alex was behaving this way, but she knew it had something to do with what she had said. She just couldn’t understand what had caused such a monumental change in the man’s attitude.

Nevertheless, she decided to make up for the words she believed had troubled the man by preparing a nice home made meal for when he finally returned. As for Alex, he spent the rest of the day spacing out with his thoughts. His body moved on autopilot as it finished the construction of the building that would contain the smithy, before moving onto building the edo period style tatara furnace that would allow him to create steel from iron sand.

It was only after the sun had disappeared from the sky that Alex would return to the Cabin with a new outlook on himself, and his relationship with the various women in his life.
