Once back in the Sea of Guardians, Milton Cheney started to gauge his surroundings unconsciously.

This time, he returned to the Sea of Guardians, leveraging the Book of Truth to transport directly there.

Milton thought he would appear over the familiar Pure White Sea Region, but once back in the Sea of Guardians, he found that everything around him was uncannily unfamiliar.

“This doesn’t seem to be within the Third Rift.”

Milton murmured as he surveyed the surroundings.

“You haven’t returned to the Sea of Guardians in a thousand years, have you?”

Suddenly, a voice echoed in Milton’s ears.

The moment he heard the voice, Milton turned to look at the place where the voice was coming from.

Indeed, a familiar figure stood behind him.

“Mentor.”

Milton said with a smile appearing on his face.

In the thousand years since he left the Sea of Guardians, although he often communicated with Bane via the Book of Truth, they hadn’t seen each other.

This was their first meeting in a thousand years.

A hint of a smile was also visible on Bane’s face.

“Mentor, where are we?”

Milton voiced the doubt that lingered in his heart.

Bane, of course, understood what Milton was wondering and started to explain:

“This is not the South Guardian Sea.”

“The Four Guardian Seas are now merged together. This is the City of Four Seas, located in the First Rift of the Wizard Realm.”

Hearing this, Milton nodded in agreement.

I see.

The South Guardian Sea has become a thing of the past.

However, the merger of the Four Guardian Seas does not have much impact on Milton.

After all, everything that is happening now is part of the simulation, and the real him is far away in time from this moment.

“What about the Pure White Sea Region?”

Milton asked softly.

After a thousand years away from the Sea of Guardians, he was indeed somewhat unfamiliar with the Sea of Guardians at this time.

“The Pure White Sea Region has not vanished; it’s in the Southern Sea Region.”

“The Four Seas have merged, but everything from before still exists, only now it’s split into four sea regions.”

Bane explained.

Once the words were spoken, Bane’s spiritual power gushed out from his Spiritual Sea, summoned the Book of Truth to appear in front of him.

“Let’s go, I’ll take you to the Southern Sea Region, where your Wizard Tower is.”

Hearing this, Milton did not refuse.

Milton allowed the purple light that emerged within Bane’s Book of Truth to envelop his body.

The next moment, both of them disappeared from the spot.

When they reappeared, a familiar scene came into Milton’s view.

In the sky above the Pure White Sea Region, Milton’s figure suddenly appeared there.

Looking around at everything, it was indeed exactly the same as before.

The Southern Sea had become the Southern Sea Region, and the four seas had merged and are situated in the First Rift of the Wizard Realm.

A thousand years had passed, indeed, some significant changes had occurred in the Sea of Guardians.

The structure of the Four Seas in the Sea of Guardians had managed to maintain itself for ten million years, but now, a mere thousand years had been enough to break this pattern.

Milton looked around without saying a word.

“How does it feel?”

Bane put away the Book of Truth and turned to Milton to ask.

“Just like before, no changes…”

“I am not asking about this. I am asking how your journey to the Soul Realm was, did it go smoothly?”

Bane cut off Milton’s words and asked.

His tone revealed a hint of curiosity; he seemed eager to know what Milton had experienced over the years.

Although Bane and Milton had frequently communicated through the Book of Truth, Milton had seldom spoken about his experiences in the Soul Realm.

Therefore, Bane did not know what exactly Milton had been doing in the Soul Realm.

Now that Milton had returned, his curiosity had naturally been stoked.

“Not very smoothly.”

“I learned about an Unowned Rule, but this rule is in the Soul Academy where I, as an outsider, have no hope of probing.”

Milton spoke, appearing somewhat helpless.

There was no intention of concealing anything on his part.

After all, this was the aftermath of the simulation, and his mentor was not one to blabber.

Moreover, this was not a major secret. Now that he was back, there was no need for Milton to hide anything from Bane.

So, Milton decided to satisfy Bane’s curiosity.

“An Unowned Rule in the Soul Academy?”

“That’s unfortunate. The Soul Academy can be very cliquish. Given that you are a wizard, you indeed have almost no hope.”

Bane said, a hint of regret in his voice.

Even though he hadn’t visited the Soul Realm many times, he still had some knowledge of the Soul Academy, the largest Spiritualist organization in the Soul Realm.

Just as denizens of prominent organizations in other realms of the Wizard Realm seldom lack knowledge of the Sea of Guardians.

According to Bane’s knowledge, the Soul Academy is an exceedingly exclusive organization.

His understanding wasn’t wrong; Milton had taken a thousand years to prove that the Soul Academy wasn’t particularly welcoming to wizards.

“Now that you’re back, I’ll not stay here for long. Your Wizard Tower still resides in the original place, unchanged.”

“You need to re-enter the coordinates of the Sea of Guardians.”

“As for tasks in the Task Space, you can enter the Task Space to check on your own.”

“The Task Space of the Sea of Guardians is no longer the same as before. Now, the Task Space allows you to freely choose tasks and is not bound by time restrictions.”

After a barrage of kind reminders, Bane disappeared from the spot with a flicker of his silhouette.

Milton’s gaze lingered on the spot where Bane disappeared for a moment before he redirected his gaze.
